I am working as a supply TA at present . I also worked as an exam invigilator at Mossbourne Victoria Park Academy at Hackney. Moreover, I work as a self-employed tutor assisting younger people with maths. I have previously worked as a computer lecturer in India. So I feel I possess good numeracy and computer skills. I also have a passion for teaching and have a caring, patient, and empathetic approach to supporting and helping people.
I have the keen desire to empower children with the experience, qualification and knowledge which I achieved through my industry experience and tutoring. I am confident that I can make a change in the lives of students by connecting maths problems with real world examples, especially those that find it hard. I encourage children to do more practice questions which help them to get a good knowledge of the subject and how to solve a problem in different ways. A good combination of realistic approach and imagination make maths learning easy or help solving difficulty to a certain level. Active involvement of children in discussing and sharing ideas will also add their interest and knowledge in the subject. I hope all these ideas help me to become a fantastic maths teacher. |
