I completed a level 3 Diploma in supporting teaching and learning and secured a job as a Teaching Assistant over 11 years ago. I then went on to become a Higher Level Teaching Assistant and was responsible for covering whole class teaching. Whilst working in school full time, I completed an Early Years Degree at Warwick University. This enabled me to complete a PGCE with QTS at Coventry University and achieve my goal of becoming a qualified primary school teacher. I have worked across all year groups, currently teaching in year 5. I have a passion for supporting children and watching them engage with the process of learning, rather than focussing on one outcome. I pride myself on having high expectations for every child and helping them achieve new goals through enjoyment for learning. |
