I am an experienced classroom teacher with over 20 years experience. I currently work in a small comprehensive school in Oxfordshire. I have been in this role for the past 6 years. Previous to this I worked in another comprehensive school in Oxfordshire where I was responsible for classroom teaching and as a pastoral leader as well. I have experience in providing private tuition for students of KS3,4 and 5. I specialise in general science at KS3 and 4, Chemistry for KS4 triple science and A level chemistry. I have been tutoring in this way for over 7 years and I really enjoy it, particularly seeing an individual gain confidence in the subject and experience in passing exams. I am adaptable and can tailor lessons to an individual student's requirements. I am also a GCSE examiner for AQA. My students have found my experience in this area useful when applying their knowledge to comprehending and learning how to answer exam questions. |
