I have a passion for science and conservation biology in particular. I strongly believe in education as a way to improve people's lives. I like a 1-on-1 approach as I think this allows a personalised method of teaching for each tutee. I will concentrate on details and refining technique as well as broadening general knowledge of each subject. I am friendly and ensure that the tutoring I do in tailored to the way each individual learns.

In 2016 I spent 4 months in China teaching English as a Foreign Language. I taught 5 classes, each with two lessons a week (16 weeks). I taught Business English Reading (2 classes), Oral Communication, and English Speaking and Listening (2 classes). I also taught a condensed English Speaking and Listening class with the same number of lessons but over a four week period. My classes consist of between 30 and 45 students in their third or fourth year of study. I am expected to prepare appropriately for lessons, provide weekly attendance and participation scores, and set the final exam for all classes. I also gave a ten-week series of open lectures on British Culture.
