Drum lessons in Birmingham, UK. If you’ve come to get you’re groove on you’ve come to the right place! My name is Jack, I'm 23 and have been playing drums for 14 years. I learnt how to play drums at a music school when I was 9 up on till I was 20 where I did 7 grades getting distinctions and merits. I have also played live all over Birmingham in bands and for the music school I used to go. I can teach you how to read and write music as well as playing by ear. The first lesson is free so you can decide if you’re interested. I have learnt to play in a range of styles from heavy hitting rock to smooth jazz. As well as R&B, rap and dance music, so there's a wide range of music to learn and explore! As I said reading and writing music will also be taught if interested. I have professional books which I still use for my own practice and will provide copies to practice with at home. If there are songs in particular you'd like to learn then that's fantastic as you can then show off your favourite songs! I am a very patient person so will go at your own pace whether you're new to drums or experienced; we all learn in different ways. The main thing is to have fun and hopefully love drums as much as I do! Drums are the back beat of any song, keeping the time and rhythm which in my opinion makes us the most important player.
