I am a Masters qualified English Language Teacher with 10 years experience in the classroom. The first and largest chapter of my career was teaching in Vietnam, where I worked at the Vietnam Australia School and The British Vietnamese International School, part of Nord Anglia. I then stepped into teaching adults at the Royal Melbourne Instutute of Technology Hanoi, which lead be back to the UK where I now teach foundation programs to interational students at Aston University. I am very passionate about Second Language Acqusition and can support learning to any age and ability. In my current position I specialise in EAP, English for Academic Purposes, however given my track record I am highly skilled at supporting primary aged children to improve their English, especially those with low level and confidence issues. My teaching style has been described as warm and approachable with a good balance of professionalsim that my students find engaging and comfortable. During a recent observation my lesson was described as," "Great class to observe that showed learners were engaged and learning in a pacy lesson.
