I am currently a teacher of science / biology at an independent school in Wakefield, teaching KS3 Science, GCSE Biology and 'A' level Biology. Having taught students of all abilities for over 25 years, I have experience in developing individual students learning to allow the student to progress to a level that allows them to obtain grades above their indicator levels. My teaching is thorough, focusing on the key aspects of the specification and targeting the students learning to examination techniques, that will allow them to access key marking points in order to obtain high levels of attainment. I have privately tutored for 10 years, ensuring that sessions are structured to the individual students ability, differentiating tasks and questions when required. I notice a remarked improvement in how my tutees structure their answers to allow them to access the higher marking points within exam questions. I am also currently an examiner for GCSE Edexcel board. Prices on my profile are for online tutoring, taking into account that families are currently under financial restrictions.
