Returning to Spain with my loved ones stopped me from carrying on doing what I love, teaching Spanish for foreigners. This is the reason why I am looking forward to starting this new experience teaching Spanish language online and sharing my culture with new students looking into improving their skills in my native language. I have 4 years of full-time experience teaching Spanish in the private sector in a boarding school in Berkshire. I have experience with Spanish IGCSE and A-levels together with its literature based on 'La Casa de Bernarda Alba'. My aim has always been to ensure the acquisition of Spanish through strategies and techniques that make learning meaningful using active methodologies such as gamification, service learning or emotional and social learning. From my perspective, active methodologies guarantee the involvement and motivation of students in the learning process ensuring the acquisition of lifelong learning skills such as respect or empathy. |
