Hello! I have worked in a small SEN school for the past six years as an English lead, delivering the KS2 - KS4 curriculum to my students. Over the past year, I have progressed within my role and become the Centre Manager within the Senior Leadership Team. Whilst working at my current school, I have become a Designated Safeguarding Lead and Safer Recruitment Trained. I am responsible for writing and reviewing the school's policies, managing the staff team and ensuring the school and teachers comply to government legislation. I enjoy teaching and am passionate about ensuring the child fully understands the context of the lesson - I am willing to provide homework and extra tasks to support them. Having worked in a SEN school, I can adapt my teaching style to suit the needs of the child and will always promote a positive wellbeing throughout the lessons. |
