Hello students and parents. My name is Chantel and I am a 24-year-old Psychology graduate from the UK who has a passion for supporting children and young people in their growth, learning and development. I have 2 years of experience teaching English as a second language in both China and Spain, with a focus on vocabulary, grammar structures, reading and phonics. During my time working in Spain, I also worked as a 1-1 tutor with students struggling in English and Maths, and during this time I was able to learn how to adapt my teaching style to best suit the needs of each individual student. During my time in China, I completed various training opportunities on enhancing children's understanding of phonics, and reading comprehension and I ran a summer camp for students struggling with phonics.
