I have taught piano to beginners for over 30 years. I pride myself on being able to impart knowledge easily and quickly. I have students from beginners to Grade 3 and have many of their grade certificates through ABRSM (Royal School of Music) if required. I have taught both children and adults to play with both hands, reading both staves within 2 hours (dependent upon the amount of practice they put in). I have a variety of students, including three pupils with autism. I currently have two students taking their Grade 2 next week and am hoping for both to achieve either merit or distinction. I teach pupils to learn all of the right hand before I introduct the left hand and this seems to work really well. I have my teaching license through Dynamics Medway and enhanced DBS check along with Child Protection Certificate. |
