Bonjour! 👋 Thanks for visiting my page. I'm a highly experienced French GCSE tutor based in Belfast, available for both in-person and online lessons. I'm originally from Northern Ireland and hold a BA Honours degree in French from Queen’s University Belfast. During my studies, I spent a year teaching at a high school near Lyon in southeast France. After graduating, I broadened my teaching experience in Japan before returning to the UK to complete a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (Secondary Languages) at the University of Birmingham. In 2017, I began teaching French at a high-achieving secondary school in East Sussex, where I worked for five years. Alongside my full-time role, I started tutoring GCSE French — and I haven't looked back! If it isn’t already obvious, I’m incredibly passionate about the French language and culture. I set high standards for my students, and I’m proud to say they consistently excel through hard work and a supportive learning environment. I believe that learning a language should be fun, but I also know that dedication is key to achieving top grades. I aim to strike the perfect balance, making every lesson both enjoyable and impactful.
Feel free to send me a message to discuss how I can help your child reach their full potential in French — and to ask any questions you might have! |
