I have over 8 years experience in teaching the primary age range in the state education sector.
I am extremely knowledgeable in the National curriculum, planning, delivering and assessing your child's ability. I will take an initial assessment to see where they are in their learning - their strengths and areas they need to develop and create a personalised program for them to progress at that right speed for them as an individual.
I have used many different programs in my career such as Mastery maths, White Rose maths, FFT phonics and Little Wandle as well as creating my own activities
I enjoy making lessons creative and with real life contexts so that the children can see the purpose for their learning ready for when they enter the adult world. I like to keep the lessons at a good pace to maximise their concentration and focus. A good light hearted sense of humor with positive encouragement is the approach I find works best for when I tutor to provide the child with self-esteem and confidence in themselves.
I look forward to hearing from you.

I’m a 23 year old primary education graduate, with a QTS. I graduated with a 2:1 from the university west of England last July. I haven’t yet started my teaching career as I wanted to start tutoring first! I currently have been tutoring every week for just under a year, seeing lots of progress in my student. I have also been babying during this time too as well as working as a teaching assistant. I have over 5 years of experience working in childcare settings, including nurseries, schools, 1:1 work with ALN and so on.
I am passionate about my work and find my hard work and dedication has hugely paid off in the past couple years. I have developed my skills and knowledge of the curriculum through my studies and through my teaching too, to enable me to give the best support and learning for your children! My future plan is to start my own tutoring business and expand on this over the next few years.

With over ten years of teaching experience in an outstanding London primary school, I have honed my expertise in supporting children's learning and development. For the past eight years, I have served as the Maths Curriculum Lead, working to improve maths outcomes across the school. Additionally, I have led 11+ tuition groups for disadvantaged Year 4 and Year 5 pupils, helping them prepare for entrance exams with confidence.
Currently, I am an Assistant Head Teacher, and my passion for education drives me to provide high-quality tutoring in both English and maths for children aged 8 and older, including 11+ exam preparation. I believe that the key to successful learning is building trust and strong relationships with my students, ensuring they feel comfortable and supported. Through this approach, I foster not only academic growth but also a deep-seated love of learning and the self-confidence that comes with it.

Hi, my name is Kully and it's very nice to meet you. Thank you for taking this time out to read my profile!
For the last 10 years, I have been working as a primary school teacher at an outstanding school.
I have over 15 years experience and have worked within many schools, two of which were long-term.
Over the years, my teaching career has allowed me to experience many different and difficult situations. These in turn have made me a more confident, organised, resourceful and experienced (in many years groups) teacher.
My current role is a Year 2 class teacher, however I have taught children from Nursery up to Year 6 as a cover teacher too.
I took part in the Government led school tutoring program, where I tutored 3 children from Year 2 in Writing. This has deepened my experience further, especially when assisting children to achieve the best they can.
I have carried out and planned for many 1:1 or group interventions in Maths and English to assist with our school's Covid catch-up program.
I want to build a good rapport with my pupils, a relationship that is fun, respectful and honest.
It's all about adapting the learning to the pupil and making them feel that they are in control of their learning too. Having a good sense of humour always helps too!
Please leave a message if you would like to discuss your child's needs.
Looking forward to meeting you.
