I am also a fully qualified teacher and have taught and tutored both children and adults since 2011. My specialisms are A-level Economics and Business Studies but I have also prepared candidates for Oxbridge entry.
I have tutored both the domestic and international exam boards for many years including: AQA, Edexcel, OCR, EDUQAS, WJEC, CIE, International Edexcel, IB, Pre-U and SEB.
I have tutored online for over 3000 hours and find that for Economics and Business Studies it is as good as in person, if not better, since it is much easier to send model paragraphs and diagrams. I endeavour to make sure my students feel as comfortable as possible and encourage them to ask questions because asking questions is the best way to learn. My sessions are always tailored to the students' individual requirements and are focused around the specific requirements of the exam. Parents often remark that their child is much more confident with the subject following sessions with me.

Hi my name is O. Wares. You can call me Wares. I come from a family of teachers and tutors. I am extremely passionate about education and teaching, and my very first job was tutoring. I taught English Language, Economics and Mathematics from KS3 to GCSE level, EFL/ESL and as well as English Language as an elective course at university level. With all the subjects and modules combined, I have an experience of 8 years of solid teaching. I have consistently improved grades for my students including the GCSE level. After a first class BA in music and a PGCE that specialised in instrumental teaching, I have taught continuously in Devon schools and privately at home for over thirty years.
I offer relaxed lessons to all ages, primary to adult. I believe in an individual approach, following your interests, providing materials to suit, and sharing your love of music. As a performer, I have experience of classical, jazz, folk, pop, soul and rock, and I teach improvisation and ear skills alongside reading. I have a high level of Spanish, stuyding it at Univeristy and being in the native speakers' class (even though I am not a native).
