A well-motivated, versatile, and quick learning individual after graduation took on a challenge to live in India over the last 10 years. The opportunity allowed her to contribute her background and exposure of the UK education towards India's education system to create a new foundation for the current and new generations. There was also a great opportunity to teach students there, how to speak English as they were only fluent in Gujarati and Hindi. While working at the Gujarati school in London the role consists of: Teaching and creating classwork from the foundations of the language to the complexities, ensuring pupils are able to speak, read, and write. Also worked with training teaching assistants to become classroom teachers or work with focus pupils. Currently has been working with various age group of students online teaching them how to read, write and speak Gujarati through a fun and interactive approach.

Prior to teaching I have worked in life science Reasearch and Development and in Biopharamceutical research, sales and marketing. I also worked a part-time voluntary teaching assistant in primary and seconday schools for 2 years. In 2014 I decided to change career completely to become a science teacher, so I trained at Kings College, graduating with my PGCE in 2015.
My background prior to teaching brings additional experience and skills to my teaching. Chemistry is my specialist subject. I have taught and tutored all sciences successfully to years 7 to 11, and have taught and tutored Chemistry and Biology at A level.

I'm a recent graduate looking to help other students who struggle with the disguised complexity of essay subjects achieve their desired grades in a friendly, patient and approachable manner. I have helped many other students and friends of mine informally with their writing, and they always point out how easy it becomes once I lay out the correct formatting for them.
With guided practice, I can help students break down intimidating essay questions into manageable parts, build clear and convincing arguments, and express their views with confidence. My goal is to make academic writing feel less like a chore and more like a skill anyone can master with the right support.

I am an enthusiastic and dedicated languages teacher looking to help all those requiring language tuition in London and online.
I come from a trilingual family and have spoken Spanish, Portuguese and English since childhood. I studied languages as part of my undergraduate degree at the University of Leeds, obtaining a first class BA in History with Spanish and Portuguese.
After a decade working in law, I returned to my language roots and qualified as a languages teacher in 2018. I taught Spanish for three years to London secondary school students, focusing on GCSE and A Level exam preparation. I also worked additionally as a Portuguese GCSE speaking examiner during exam season, something which I continue to do today. In 2021, I finally decided to focus full-time on my private tutoring career as a Spanish and Portuguese language tutor.
Whether you're looking for formal public exam preparation or a tutor to practise everyday conversational skills with, I'm ready to help. My hour-long lessons are designed to be an open and encouraging space in which students can practise and improve their language skills. I work to ensure that they are fun, interactive and as light-hearted as possible while always focused intently on my students' learning needs. What sets me apart is that I tailor my sessions to each individual student's particular strengths, goals and interests to ensure maximum engagement.
I am passionate about languages and the cultures in which they are spoken. As well as helping you reach the level of proficiency you’re aiming for, I hope that my sessions will inspire you to really fall in love with Spanish and Portuguese and want to use them further in the future!

Hello! I'm Daisy and I'm a postgraduate student at King's College London and tutor up to A-level. I have a BSc in mathematics from the University of Nottingham.
I've been tutoring for 5 years including a year full time. I've delivered over 2000 hours of online lessons and many face-to-face.
In my lessons I focus on clear explanations and aim to make maths more approachable, especially to those who have struggled or felt less confident in school.
Available for maths tuition online or in-home in London. Send me a message to book in a free initial meeting where we can discuss the best lesson plan personal to you. Generally students have already identified a few topics they struggle with as a starting point.
Lesson structure varies but we will always have a recap of related topics that we may be building on the lesson, examples and explanation as needed and a focus on practice questions. If you are preparing for an exam we will also look at exam technique. I would usually recommend that we focus on one topic at a time and take time to really get the hang of it, rather than rush through lots of content that is difficult to retain.
I always check my lesson content against the national curriculum and/or relevant exam syllabus.

Currently working as a full time English teacher at a private school. My job isn't limited to teaching. My biggest priority, more than anything, is inspiring my students to realise their own potential. In my lessons, you'll learn not only how to pass your exams, you'll also learn how to develop a positive mindset that will help you find success as you go out into the world.

I take a student focused approach to tutoring. My goal is to build confidence as well as understanding by making tricky topics feel approachable and engaging. I adapt my teaching methods depending on how each student learns best – whether that’s through step-by-step explanations, diagrams, analogies, or active questioning.
I make heavy use of past paper practice, since it's one of the most effective ways to prepare for GCSEs. We work on mastering exam technique and recognising common question patterns, so students feel fully prepared by exam season.
A typical lesson is 60 minutes long. During that time, I usually:
Begin with a quick recap or starter question,
Dive into teaching or reviewing the chosen topic,
Work through examples together, and
End with a few exam-style questions to apply what’s been covered.
I’ve been tutoring GCSE Maths, Biology and Chemistry for over 2 years, and I’ve helped students move up multiple grades through consistent, focused support. I achieved Grade 9 in GCSE Chemistry, Biology and Maths, so I know exactly what it takes to succeed in these subjects from a student's perspective.

I specialize in breaking down complex scientific ideas into clear, manageable steps, using real-world examples to make learning engaging and relevant. My tutoring sessions are highly interactive, encouraging students to ask questions, think critically, and actively participate in their own learning process. I believe that understanding is built through curiosity and consistent support, so I always take the time to ensure that foundational concepts are solid before moving forward. I tailor each session to the student’s individual needs, learning pace, and academic goals—whether they’re aiming for top grades, catching up on challenging topics, or preparing for university entrance exams. By connecting course material to practical applications in health and science, I help students see the value in what they’re learning and feel more motivated to succeed.

I'm a trainee secondary Geography teacher, currently studying at UCL’s Institute of Education while teaching full-time on placement. I believe everyone should have the opportunity to reach their full potential.
As someone with ADHD and dyspraxia, and with close family experience of autism, I truly understand that every student learns differently. My aim is to help everyone achieve their academic potential, and show anyone with additional barriers in their way that they can succeed in a world not designed for them.
I achieved top grades in school, including an A* in English Literature, an A in Geography, a B in Psychology, and strong results across core subjects like Maths and Science.
I bring patience, empathy, and vast creativity to my sessions, adapting my teaching style to suit each individual. Whether you or your child needs help catching up, boosting their exam skills, or just gaining self confidence, I provide a calm, supportive space to learn and grow.
Im very flexible with location, provided i have a car and a 3 minute walk to the Piccadilly line.
Would love to hear from anyone looking to grow their academic or personal skills!

Over the last 10+ years, I've diligently tutored students, guiding them from 11+ entrance exams to A-level proficiency, encompassing a spectrum of Exam Boards. So far, every pupil secured admission into prestigious grammar and private schools at the 11+ stage, while consistently surpassing their predicted grades for both GCSE and A-level examinations.
My approach is highly adaptable, tailored to accommodate the unique learning styles of each student. I believe in fostering understanding through clear, concise explanations, followed by structured problem-solving sessions to reinforce their understanding. I then encourage independent practice, either during our sessions or as homework assignments.

My priority is tailoring each of my lessons according to individual students, which is a key aspect of one-to-one tutoring. I also use questions and homework to check understanding continually. I usually focus on exam-style or past paper questions in order to check, practice and perfect the student`s understanding and technique.
I always take a student-centered approach to teaching by asking students to bring their notes and talk me through the topics they feel are most difficult. My aim as your tutor would be to identify your strengths and weaknesses and build upon these appropriately. I would incorporate past paper questions very early in the curriculum to assess how well a child can apply their knowledge to answering exam questions. This will ensure that by the time the exams are sat the student will be fully prepared.
I prepare materials which allow them to reinforce their understanding to learn a difficult subject. I gradually strengthen their knowledge and bring them to a higher level.
Materials included:
- Homework
- Mock exam questions
- Quiz sessions
- Past papers
I am teaching the following:
KS2 & KS3 Maths
GCSE Maths - All Exam Boards (Foundation & Higher Tier 9-1 Syllabus)
A Level maths - Exam Boards (Edexcel, OCR, OCR MEI, AQA)

I am a qualified teacher of Mathematics with wide experience teaching from years 5 to 13. I taught for five years at an all girls` secondary school in Bath before moving to an extremely high achieving boys`school close to my new home in Northwood.
I had spent the years prior teaching in mixed gender secondary schools in Bristol and Trowbridge as well as a middle school in Dorset.
I have seven years of experience helping young people achieve their goals in mathematics in a tutor capacity.
I have created a wealth of resources in recent years with the aim of diagnosing and curing misconceptions in topic specific areas within the curriculum for key stage 3, GCSE, IGCSE, FSMQ and A-level. These have proven invaluable in preparing students for their state examinations.

I am an experienced Mathematics tutor, helping students from GCSE to university level for over twelve years. I have a BSc in Mathematics from Imperial College, London and an MSc in Financial Mathematics from Warwick University.
Tutorial sessions would normally take place at my home in Stanmore or online.
INITIAL SESSION: I take the opportunity to understand more about the student, past exam results, other subjects being studied and future goals – this enables me to plan further sessions tailored to the areas which need most attention at the right time.
CONFIDENCE: I try to help students gain confidence in their ability by working on areas of weakness first. I try to break problems down into manageable chunks and explain those parts that do not make sense in more detail, using my communication skills to explain concepts in a simple way.
HOMEWORK PROBLEMS: these are set to consolidate what is covered during the sessions and to identify gaps in the learning; so feedback from this process is crucial to ensure that progress is continually being made.
EXAM PREPARATION: more emphasis on past papers, consolidation of knowledge and exam strategy, but this depends on individual circumstances. I provide my own solutions to past papers questions as needed.

I am a Bioanalytical Scientist with a Bachelor's degree in Human and Medical science and therefore have a very good understanding of Biology and Chemistry. Furthermore I have 6 months experience as a substitute teacher and a year's experience as a TEFL teacher. I have always enjoyed Sciences, English and Urdu language and feel they have always been my greatest academic skills. Due to my passion for the subjects and great understanding, I have been able to make them simpler and easier to understand for all my fellow peers ans siblings in the past. I hope to bring these skills and passion in use with my students as well. I am happy to help children of all levels from KS1 to A-levels who are struggling or need extra motivation. I am happy to modify the class as per student needs. Depending on student specification and weak topics I can plan lessons to suit individual style of learning by either providing extra supprt and material or by going over the topic again to make it simpler and easier to understand. Through my experience in labs I will use real life examples and videos, wherever possible to help my students with their curriculum. I can teach KS1 - A-levels for science and Urdu and will provide one to one support to each student to ensure a good experience and learning I am happy to provide tuition online or from my home. Please feel free to enquire if you have any further questions.
