I’m a 23 year old primary education graduate, with a QTS. I graduated with a 2:1 from the university west of England last July. I haven’t yet started my teaching career as I wanted to start tutoring first! I currently have been tutoring every week for just under a year, seeing lots of progress in my student. I have also been babying during this time too as well as working as a teaching assistant. I have over 5 years of experience working in childcare settings, including nurseries, schools, 1:1 work with ALN and so on.
I am passionate about my work and find my hard work and dedication has hugely paid off in the past couple years. I am a recently retired Head of English who has worked in both state and private education. I am now an examiner for English examination boards and the International Baccalaureate. Although i have retired from the classrom I still enjoy enormously working with students on a one-to-on basis to help them with whatever they need. A Costs Lawyer and PGCE Tutor with 20 years experience in all aspects of academia who teaches Law, Politics and English in Cardiff at GCSE, AS AS Undergraduate, Post Graduate level and English ESL to Chinese children online.
After graduating I secured a position with Eversheds for 8 years as a Costs Lawyer and bespoke tutor. The emphasis was on managing a team with responsibility for recovery of costs on behalf of large external clients, predominantly insurers and government departments as well as financial organisations.
From November 2007, I embarked upon my own private practice with a dual purpose of providing legal advice to clients along side structures and bespoke tutoring. Please note: group tuition runs September to May. I am already booking students to start in SEPTEMBER 2025.
