My name is Ahmed and I enjoy teaching. This is why I've chosen this profession which allows me to deal with people from different backgrounds, understand their needs and take a challenge of helping them. The most important thing for me is seeing my student's satisfaction and I feel honoured when my students leave the session with positive learning.
I'm patient (as this is one of the important tools in order to be a successful teacher), friendly, and make sure to keep a rapport among my students. I feel it is important as a teacher to make your student believe that you are his/her mentor as a tutor/teacher and you are there to help them to get the best out of their personality.
Currently, I am working as a head of department in one of the Grammar Schools.
I am a Qualified Teacher, working at a Grammar school in Aylesbury and I have recently been appointed as an examiner for Edexcel A-Level Mathematics.I am very passionate about my subject and I have a different approach to teaching including more practical ways which engage pupils and enhance their understanding as the new curriculum requires pupils to have a deeper understanding to be able to solve problems.
I believe that every pupil can learn mathematics and I work hard to achieve that, especially with pupils who want to learn and succeed.
Although I work in Grammar schools, I have 6 years of private tuition experience with pupils who need more support and with high-achievers.

A former Teaching Fellow at King's College London, I have taught MA courses on the Arab-Israeli conflict, US and British Foreign Policy, War and Peace in the Middle East, and Inter-Faith Relations. A fluent Hebrew speaker, I was Peer Tutor in Hebrew at University College London, where I was awarded the departmental prize for excellence in the Hebrew language. I am a British PhD with degrees from the universities of London, Jerusalem, and Cambridge. Author of 'Israel and the Cold War: Diplomacy, Strategy, and the Policy of the Periphery at the United Nations' (I. B. Tauris/Palgrave Macmillan, 2013), I have written for several academic journals and newspapers and reviewed for the Royal Institute of International Affairs, Chatham House. I was the first recipient of the Mikardo scholarship awarded by the British Foreign Office, and, whilst at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, I was awarded a Golda Meir Fellowship. Whilst at Cambridge, I won a Donner prize in Atlantic Studies. In addition to the subjects listed below, I tutor in International Relations and Middle Eastern Studies, and I'm happy to consider all enquiries within my general areas of interest and experience. I am also available for dissertation consultation, proofreading, and help in exam and essay writing.

I am a self employed qualified language tutor bringing up a bilingual child. I adore languages and feel that in todays world they are of exceptional importance. I hold a BA Joint Hons in Spanish and American Studies and a Delf B2 in French in addition to a PGCE Cert/Ed. Typically I am based from my home classroom in Northampton form where i run Spanish and French Classes on a one one or small group basis, however currently I offer sessions through Skype and other online platforms. I'm fluent in Spanish, ( my native language) French, and English and have spent many years teaching and studying languages. I completed a bachelor's degree in Spanish and English at Manchester/ALmeria University (2008) and studied Spanish and English Literature in school (GCSE and A-Level) so I know how daunting grammar can sometimes feel and how stressful language/literature exams can be... but also how great it feels when you finally start getting it!

I also teach courses to adults from beginners to advanced and I always tailored to each student's need. I also teach English to foreigners to achieve the Cambridge Examinations ( A1 to C1).
I effectively deliver and plan online outstanding lessons and the feedback that I have received from parents, pupils, and adult learners have always been very stimulating. I strongly believe in the student centered-approach as always shown in my lesson plans. I believe that all students are individuals with very specific needs so differentiation has always been at the forefront of my teaching practice.
