Science Clinic Private Tutors was founded in 2010. Our vision was to help struggling children understand the concepts of the major subjects which are sought after by many colleges & universities. Our tutoring was mainly in the main subjects (Maths, all 3 Sciences & English Language) to exam students only. Because of the huge demand of tutoring in all year groups, we now teach students across the board from Primary (KS1 & KS2) through to GCSE, A-level and University. We were luck to have had colleagues we share the same vision with join us. Now we can teach all subjects from Primary through to GCSE, College /A-levels and Science & Maths at University level. All our teachers / tutors are graduates and qualified teachers with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) who understand the National Curriculum. Some of them are examiners at GCSE and A-level, which means they know the exam techniques students need to answer the exam questions properly and get better grades. Within the team, we have professionals with very high qualifications ie Masters Degrees (MSc / MA) and PhDs in various subjects. We can, therefore, be confident to say we are professionals who are dedicated to what we do with proven records in the UK’s most entrance and national exams. We are a tutoring organisation that is defined by its professionalism. Our aim is to provide a personal service. This makes us very different from most tutoring companies that just offer a platform for tutors and students to meet. We speak to clients so that we can match them with the most appropriate tutor for their needs. When this happens, the results can be remarkable & confidence grows. We personally know all our tutors and all have had DBS checks and their qualifications checked before we take them on. We are also a member of The Tutors’ Association (TTA) which was formed in 2013 to provide standards to the tutoring industry.

Over four years of experience supporting students from KS1 to A-levels in a wide range of subjects from different boards including AQA, Edexcel, and OCR.
Through my previous tutoring endeavours, I have found that improving one’s confidence is the most mutually beneficial approach to tutoring, as it allows students to feel comfortable enough to make mistakes and learn from them; this in turn, will lead to an increase in marks and grades. This has proven to be extremely effective as past tutees have gone on to achieve grades well above their predicted grades, surprising the institutions themselves.
My tutoring experience is comprehensive and inclusive, as I have worked with many different kinds of students, including those with learning difficulties and from areas of deprivation. I am able to tailor my approach to best suit the student and their needs appropriately, ensuring the greatest outcome is achieved for all.

I started my teaching career back in 2017. Since then I have taught kids from all standards. I have experience in teaching all the subjects and my students mostly enjoy learning Maths, English, Science, Biology, Geography, History and Chemistry from me. I am well known for my unique teaching techniques that help the student to learn more efficiently and easily.
My After getting my BSc degree I also worked as a Research Consultant at CEGIS (an organization under the Ministry of Water Resources of Bangladesh) for a year. After moving to the UK, I am looking for students here so that I can carry on my passion of being a tutor while I am obtaining my Master's degree.
teaching approach is mainly based on experimental learning. I try to demonstrate a topic with real-life examples and practical teaching. My teaching technique is eccentric because I attempt to see through a student's lens while teaching a specific topic and also try to describe in the way I learned that topic back in my student life.

Skills Summary
I am passionate and hardworking which will allow me to fulfil this role to the best of my ability and fully demonstrate my skills. My capability to work well in a team and encompass team spirit is something that would apply very well to a tutoring environment such as working closely to cover and support my tutees. This will help to achieve important goals whilst also ensuring we deliver an excellent service. In addition, I have strong leadership qualities which demonstrate my proactive and positive attitude, as well as my ability to work well under pressure and multitask.

Experience
Whilst I have no specific academic tutoring experience, my wide range of extra-curricular activities and interests have allowed me to tackle new challenges with confidence and hone key qualities that would apply equally well to a role in the industry. As a member of the 1st XI school hockey and cricket teams, representing South-East England and Oxfordshire respectively in both, I have used and improved teamwork and communication skills vital to thrive in a team environment, whilst my position as vice-captain for the school hockey team has allowed me to confidently step up as a leader when necessary. However, my 2-year experience working as both a cricket and hockey coach for Oxford Cricket Club and Oxfordshire County Hockey for a wide variety of age groups has allowed me to understand how to build strong student-teacher relationships, highlighting the importance of trust in maintaining a fun but productive working environment. In addition, my role as a school prefect has developed my interpersonal and organisation skills, through carrying out personalised tours and managing large events, all helping to build my adaptable nature. All these roles have also made maximum use of my written, organisational planning and co-ordination skills, and would be at least beneficial, if not essential, for this job.

· Academic Scholar and Sports Exhibitionist
· Vice-captain and member of the 1st XI School Hockey and Cricket Teams, respectively

I love Biology and believe that anyone can enjoy learning more about life on Earth. I find that students thrive with one-to-one tuition because it is tailored for their needs - we can make sure that they understand the subject content as well as working on any weakness in exam technique. A huge part of succeeding in Biology is having the confidence to interpret and answer the questions correctly. This comes more quickly with guidance from someone who has seen a lot of exam papers!

Experienced Maths and Science tutor
Hello, my name is Hakim and I’m a tutor of 4 years. I specialise in tutoring A level Biology and Chemistry and Maths with over 550 lessons taught. Throughout my many years of tutoring experience I have tutored many students in a crash course specialising in achieving success in their exams and also throughout the year. In addition, I have also tutored SEN students. I am currently studying a Masters in Pharmacy so Biology, Chemistry and Maths are at the forefront of my field. I focus on developing a passion for the subject and build base of knowledge for my students to master exam technique. My lessons are structure by using the half the time to build a solid foundation of knowledge in the topic we are going over. To do this I use techniques such as active recall, interactive learning and quizzing. The second half of the lesson is focussed on exam technique and applying the knowledge you have just learnt to help maximise the amount marks you achieve. Together we will go over questions and mark schemes to help you learn what the examiners want to see from you. In my experience this technique is the most efficient way to spend our time and has shown a lot of success for my previous students!
