I recently completed a masters degree in civil engineering at the University of Bristol, and have since worked as a structural engineer for 15 months. At A-Level, I achieved an A* in mathematics, an A* in physics, and an A in chemistry. At GCSE level, I achieved 9A*s and 1A, including an A* in maths. I am looking to help students work through topics they are struggling with, and achieve their potential in the subject. I want to use the knowledge and experience I have gained during my time at school, university, and in my work as an engineer, to help provide productive and fulfilling lessons to students.
Prior to teaching I have worked in life science Reasearch and Development and in Biopharamceutical research, sales and marketing. I also worked a part-time voluntary teaching assistant in primary and seconday schools for 2 years. In 2014 I decided to change career completely to become a science teacher, so I trained at Kings College, graduating with my PGCE in 2015.
My background prior to teaching brings additional experience and skills to my teaching. Chemistry is my specialist subject. I have taught and tutored all sciences successfully to years 7 to 11, and have taught and tutored Chemistry and Biology at A level.
I am a Chartered Linguist with over 15 years of experience working in the language industry. I have a BA (HONS) in Languages and Translation Studies. I am passionate about the Italian language, linguistic and language teaching. I am professional, friendly and empathic, and my teaching style is very effective in ensuring fast results. I am very flexible in creating tailored lessons to help you achieve your goals.

My name is José María de Lucas Sacristán, though most know me as Chema Sacristán. I've been a professional drummer since 2004. I'd like to share a brief biography of my career in the U.K. In 2002, at 19, I realized my love for music and moved to Bristol, U.K., where I lived for four years. Bristol exposed me to all sorts of music, including rock, jazz, world music, and more. I played my first shows and worked with over five different local bands, gaining valuable experience. In 2006, I moved to London to study at Tech Music Schools, known as "Drum Tech," where I completed my higher education and earned a BMUS in Popular Music Performance (Hons), licensed by West London University. After completing my degree in 2011, I worked exclusively as a performing drummer and drum teacher, giving private lessons in my own studio, Oktopus Music Services, in North West London. In the past nine years, I've had the privilege of performing, recording, and writing with some of the best musicians in the London and U.K. scene, such as Kevin Glasgow (one of Europe's best bassists), Robin Banerjee (Amy Winehouse's guitarist), Roberto Manzin (Zucchero), Felipe Martíns (Emeterians), Juan Whist (The Voice National Spanish TV), and many others. I've showcased in most of London's live music venues and with the best U.K. and European entertainment agencies, such as Scarlett Entertainment, Full Stop Entertainment, and more. (i) For School UNI students I have a deep understanding of the National Curricula from the different Boards, Aqua, Edexcel, Cambridge, and preparing students for University examinations, including UCL or Oxbridge. My experience gave me the ability to quickly spot the student's strengths and weaknesses. The result is that my students have all gained between B and A or A* or 9, at their A-level or GCSE exams, (I had just one student who was given a B, the others all gain A or A* or 9). However as importantly they are able to enjoy fluent speaking and a full understanding of the Italian Language.
(ii) For Adults and Professional students In tutoring adult and professional students I have developed a method which using authentic teaching material, such as New reading, or listening, songs or moves listening. This has allowed all of them to deal in Italian, to a mother tongue level, such as job interviews or giving presentation, or simply talking with Italians once in Italy
Learning a language is the process of understanding which involves all the fours apprehension skills of listening, writing, speaking, reading which makes the entire process a very effective means to train your brain, but most of all is an entire unique psychological and emotional experience. Hello! I’m Josh, a Head of Mathematics at a successful Secondary school in Bromley and an experienced online tutor specialising in GCSE and A-level Mathematics, including Further Maths. I’ve been doing this for 8 years, and I’ve found joy in simplifying tricky math concepts.
Why online tutoring? I believe it offers flexibility and convenience. You can learn from the comfort of your space and at your pace. However, I do require students to have a graphics tablet to make our virtual lessons interactive and effective.

Hi, I am a fully qualified maths teacher with 7 years of experiance with teaching GCSE maths. My teaching style in sessions would be demonstrating how to gain as many marks as possible with effective exam style answers. I have been working with all secondary school years, years 7 to 11, since 2017. I have an abundance of experiance with all abilities and levels in this age range. I have the ability to adapt my lessons for all students that I would tutor. I am highly experienced with GCSE exam preparation for both the higher and foundation papers. I have a bank of past papers that I will share with my students. I will be available for messages throughout the week, so students can message me with questions they may have. I will also tailor each session to the students specific needs and give my professional advice on what topics may need to be worked on. I also have a bank of lessons for me to teach new topics if required.
