i can also help to plug gaps, build confidence, work on basic skills.
As a full time Maths teacher, I only tutor in the evenings or at weekends and so I get booked up really quickly. If you're interested in getting some help, get in touch and if I can't help you straight away I will put you on my waiting list.

She enjoys teaching others how to play the wide range of brass instruments that can be found in orchestras, brass bands and marching bands. Currently she plays for a local brass band as well as playing in a couple of local orchestras when required.
Although Allison mainly teaches brass instrumental lessons, she does also offer music theory lessons although she does try to include some music theory as part of her practical lessons. At present Allison has a 100% pass rate on all practical exams that her students have taken. Although Allison is happy to help students with music examinations she is also happy to offer lessons to those who just want to learn for fun.

My objective is to obtain employment part time teaching English or in tutoring for exam preparation. Having worked extensively with y6 pupils, I am experianced and successful at preparing students for SATS and independent schools entrance examinations. My background includes exam work with Capita, NFER and Pearson over many years in various roles eg Senior marker/ coder/ quality monitor.
In March – April 2020 I completed a TEFL course online (120 hours) with modules on Grammar, methodology, teaching online/via telephone, video observation and teaching large groups. Following this I worked for two years as an English tutor online with EF Tutors. I have also worked on the National Tutoring programme (online) with groups of y5 children who needed help having had their learning interrupted by COVID.
I am a specialist in languages, having studied Russian and Italian at Liverpool University and throughout my teaching career taught English and French. I attained a bachelor degree with honours level 2i. I have the ability to acquire language readily and understand grammatical structures and how they work in English as well as the other languages I have studied. In my teaching career, I was member of the SLT at a highly successful and progressive independent Junior School for 18 years prior to retirement. During this time, I was responsible for developing the programmes of study for English for a number of years and leading the staff development in this subject area.
I am also highly experienced in one to one tuition and coaching for independent schools’ entrance exams over many years with success.

expertphysicstutor. com Thank you for looking! I have been teaching and examining physics at GCSE and A Level in England for over 20 years and helping students to achieve their potential is something I love to do. It isn't all about exams though and I hope to engender a passion and enthusiasm for physics despite the pressures to do well in exams.
I am not as scary as I look in my profile pictures and I find that I can get on well with all of my students whether they are in the classroom, online or one-to-one in a tutorial. I will tailor my support to your requirements and spend at least 30 minutes with no charge, discussing your needs and finding your strengths and weaknesses. This is something I have been doing for a living for a long time and I don't use the word expert lightly.
My experience goes well beyond the classroom and I have fulfilled many roles with the Institute of Physics, Association for Science Education, CERN, Cambridge University and The Ogden Trust as well as volunteering as a STEM Ambassador.
Please have a look at the details I have included in my website expertphysicstutor . com and get in touch to arrange our first meeting, I'm looking forward to hearing from you.

My name is Rose E., I have been teaching music for over twenty years and I could teach you the many pleasures and challenges of learning a musical instrument.
It does not matter if you are a beginner, intermediate or advanced, or if you are young or not so young, learning an instrument is a wonderful and fulfilling activity.
There is no boring scale-bashing any more for beginners. These days books are exciting and stimulating. Teaching techniques have improved greatly and beginners' books, whether for keyboard or woodwind, just make you want to play.
My pupils are individuals and have many different tastes and likes and dislikes, but the thing they have in common is that they develop a secure technique, coupled with a sound musical knowledge, so that they can enjoy playing without being hampered by technical problems.

- Lessons taught by grasping student’s understanding initially, to then progress into knowledge and recall based learning and then followed by exam questions and exam style practice.
- Also, offer revision sessions for GCSE and A-Level students coming up on exams who wish for a touch up on particular topics.
- Exam style practice is the fundamental practice in which I focus on, making sure the students are able to produce the same knowledge in their exams as they do in our sessions.
- Able to cater to any student no matter their level of knowledge or expertise.
- Can confidently help to increase grades on the run up to exams.
- Learning styles of students analysed to help aid their learning. (More interactive or more visual or more explanation)
- Extensive GCSE and A-Level knowledge as completed those in the last 5 years. In particular with AQA and Edexcel exam boards.
- Tutored for 4 years.
- GCSE Subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Maths and Geography
- A-Level Subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Extended Project Qualification(EPQ)
