Do you want to learn Japanese from scratch? Do you want to improve your Japanese with fun?
Let me help you. I am a qualified teacher with extensive experience in teaching and comprehensive knowledge of Education. I have completed Two MA and PhD graduate studies in Japan and the UK. I have taught Japanese at a prestigious grammar school in Kent.
With a long-term teaching career, I know how to deliver an effective lesson to improve students’ performance.
In my lesson, you can speak Japanese as much as you want! Because practice is the key to successful learning and a shortcut to becoming a fluent speaker. Even if you have full knowledge, it could be practically pointless when you cannot use it in a real situation.
I deliver pacey, articulate, and intensive lessons with lots of fun elements. I can customise lessons depending on your goal, interest, and level so that the format will vary. In 2024, absolute beginners are very welcome, too!
Absolute beginner course has about 48 lessons /30 minutes (=24 lessons/ hour). I mainly use my handmade presentation slides created for standardised tests based on the grammar school's curriculum. You can gradually increase vocabularies and practise grammar in an organized way. When you complete this course, you will be able to speak, read, write, and listen to basic Japanese.
I am available before 5pm on weekdays, but this does not always apply to every student. So, please contact me to find out the detail.
Your first lesson is about 20 minutes, which is set for getting to know each other.
Lesson duration:
30 mins or 40 mins
It depends on you. The platform is Zoom.
For face-to-face lesson, I am available morinig and early afternoon.

Terms and conditions
I pride myself on building up a good working relationship with my clients. Since tutoring is normally for a period of some months as examinations approach and in the interests of fair play for both parties, I've set out some key points regarding charges and cancellations during the tutoring period.
Charges
A-Level sessions are delivered online weekly via Teams in one-hour blocks. Charges reflect my qualifications, experience and the way my sessions are tailored to each individual student’s needs, making them highly effective at boosting learning, confidence and grades. Knowing all the misconceptions and pitfalls on content and structuring examination questions makes all the difference and it is vital that tutoring is effective for the student.
I am happy to offer each new client one free initial assessment and discussion session to assess the needs and type of help required plus it gives you a chance to see how I work and fit in with your requirements. There is no obligation on either side to continue after this first session.
Cancellations Policy
Once a regular slot has been booked for the student, the same time every week, I will endeavour always to be available to tutor them. There is scope for discussion if a session needs to be rearranged (24 hours requested), subject to my availability.
From time to time, flexibility on both sides is required due to life events and unexpected occurrences. This may involve cancellation of a particular session or the need to reschedule and I will always try to accommodate if I can do so.
I am currently the Director of IT at a leading Girls School in Blackheath and happy to tutor students in the Blackheath/Sidcup/Eltham area or back nearer West Malling where I live - plus tutor online as well. Hello, I'm Rosana, I am a doctor in organic chemistry, passionate about chemistry. I am currently a postdoctoral researcher in UCD, Ireland and as a secondary job I offer basic chemistry, organic and advance chemistry (synthetic, medicinal, NMR, etc) and spanish ( I am native) classes at all levels. My methodology depends on each student, which I will evaluate in each class. In the first part of the classes I teach theory so that you can understand in depth the topics you want or need to learn and then you practice. We will solve problems together but I will also give you extra activity so that you improve and learn in each class. I provide classes in English and Spanish. I have a great deal of experience as a tutor. I have been working at one of the UK's leading Grammar Schools for the past four years. I tutor maths GCSE and A level online. I could run for your school a workshop or a regular after school class. I have a two programs which could be interesting for you: 1. Systema is a non-violent, liquid martial arts system based on being relaxed and flowing. It encourages sensitivity and deep understanding of body-mechanics rather than a ‘hard’ approach.
