I am a qualified teacher with 12 years of classroom experience and over 15 years of tutoring, supporting learners from primary age through to GCSE level. I specialise in English, Science, and 11+ exam preparation, and I adapt my approach to suit each student’s unique learning style and goals.
Alongside subject tuition, I have extensive experience working with children and young people with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs and SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities). I have a thorough knowledge of several exam syllabuses and can teach you the techniques you need to do well in exams, but I also want to help you set your own targets and have fun with your learning!
Hello! My name is Tamara and I am a primary teacher from Toronto, Canada. I have been living and teaching in the UK since 2015. I have taught Foundation Stage, Year 1, Year 2, Year 4/5 as well as covered across all other year groups in KS2. I also have experience teaching Functional Skills Maths to adults 16-21.
