I’m a dedicated and enthusiastic science teacher with five years of experience, currently working at a leading all-girls boarding school where I’m involved in both academic teaching and pastoral care. I hold a PGCE in Secondary Science and have recently completed an MA in Education, reflecting my commitment to ongoing professional development.

I am a professional teacher with over 15 years experience of teaching IT based subjects. I believe everyone has the right to succeed in their learning, and that with the right support and encouragement everyone can achieve their potential. During my teaching career I have taught in both primary and secondary schools, and many different subjects including Maths, Creative Media, Business Studies and Welsh Baccalaureate. However, my main passion/subjects are ICT/Computer Science and Digital Technology. I am qualified up to Degree level BA (Hons) IT Education with Qualified Teacher Status 2:1 and hold a HND in Computer Science. I'm currently a full time teacher in North Wales delivering WJEC GCSE & GCE courses with excellent student results. My tutoring sessions will start by assessing your skills and understanding your goals, We will then create a personalised learning plan that will address your areas for development. I use a range of teaching styles to ensure that you develop your skills, knowledge and understanding in order to meet your target grade. I believe that independent learning with guidance allows you to improve your performance and develop your skills. Jack H., PhD., is an anthropologist exploring the borderlands of consciousness, religion and ecology. He is an Honorary Research Fellow with the Alister Hardy Religious Experience Research Centre, University of Wales Trinity Saint David, and a tutor at the Sophia Centre for the Study of Cosmology in Culture, University of Wales Trinity Saint David. He teaches on the MA in Ecology and Spirituality and the MA in Cultural Astronomy and Astrology. He is also a tutor for the Alef Trust on their MSc in Consciousness, Spirituality and Transpersonal Psychology, where he teaches on the Approaches to Consciousness module. He has been a teacher of Access to HE (Humanities and Social Sciences) for over five years, with expertise in sociology and psychology. His teacher training at the University of Chester was in Secondary Religious Education. He has published numerous papers and articles in academic and popular publications, and is the author of Manifesting Spirits (2020), Spirits, Gods and Magic (2020) and Ecology and Spirituality (2023). He is the editor of Deep Weird (2023), Greening the Paranormal (2019) and Damned Facts (2016), and co-editor of Talking With the Spirits (2014), Mattering the Invisible (2021) and Folklore, People and Place (2023). He lives in the hills of Mid-Wales with his family.
