I qualified as a teacher in 2004 and have extensive experience in a wide range of settings. I am qualified to teach Business, Economics and Law to A level, Computer Science and Geography to GCSE level. I have taught a number of exam board specifications in these subecjts, AQA, EdExcel (Pearson), OCR and BTEC Business and BTEC Applied Law.
I hold a postgraduate certificate in education (PGCE), a Bachelors degree in Business with Geography, a Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Science and, finally, a Master of Laws (LLM), at Distinction. I have completed professional development courses to enhance my skills in teaching children with additional needs, such as Advanced Autism Awareness, ADHD and Dyslexia. In addition, I have qualifications in teaching children for whom English is a second language.
I have taught across a wide range of settings, both in the UK and overseas. This has included inner-city state schools in the UK, the independent school sector and British Schools Overseas. Most recently, I have worked as a School Improvement Consultant for overseas schools preparing for inspections - as well as teaching Business online to students in South East Asia. I am able to teach live lessons across time zones.

Have been violin tutoring for over 20 years. Exeperienced in teaching children aged from 4 to 18, conducting both individual lessons and group sessions, and preparation for students in public performances and exams. Working for the Hong Kong Children’s Strings for over 18 years as the violin instructor. Recently the first violin of a local orchestra.

My passion for education in the arts and for acting in particular began whilst working with Welfare State International and I have been key in the setting up and running of Theatre education programmes for The English Touring Theatre, The Theatre Museum and Splendid Productions among many others. My performance work includes The National Theatre, widespread touring of the UK and internationally in a range of styles from Shakespeare to Brechtian political theatre to pantomime to large scale musical theatre. I was born and raised in Germany. I went to Australia for nearly two years before moving to England in 2017. I gained vast experiences throughout my life so far. I currently work as a EAL Learning Mentor in a seconadry school in Lancashire and know what it's like to learn a new language. I teach and work with 120 EAL pupils from different countries all over the world. But I also run my own German after school club in my school and the pupils and staff love it. I do miss Germany sometimes and thought it would be a nice opportunity to teach someone else a bit of German.

I'm a secondary school maths teacher, qualified in 2018 and have worked in schools in Manchester and Burnley but live on the Fylde coast. As a teacher and a parent I know you want the best for your child and so any questions however trivial they might seem please ask.
At the moment I will only teach online due to the current Covid 19 restrictions, but have tutored in the past at students houses which I hope to resume once lockdown is over.

Hi! Thank you for taking the time to view my profile. I qualified as a teacher in 2013 and have a degree in Mathematics within secondary education (first class honours) and qualified teacher status. I have taught in secondary schools and colleges around the north west. As well as teaching I am an examiner for one of the main boards and know the ins and outs of the exam process.
