Hi my name is Ethan and I am a geography tutor for KS3 KS4 and GCSE Geography Based in Nottinghamshire UK but can teach online anywhere in the UK.
I have taught for 20 years in a range of secondary schools, where I have consistency be graded as an outstanding teacher and my students have achieved excellent results including one student goint to study Theology at Cambridge. I have been Head of Department for the past 5 years.

I am a fully qualified (QTS) secondary teacher of Biology with 9 years experience working in mainstream schools and I have been tutoring for the last 5 years. I have tutored GCSE and A level biology following the OCR and AQA specifications. I am passionate about my subject and provide a range of reources from past exam questions, experimental methods, animations and text books to enable students to fully understand the subject and for them to achieve thier best. I work on the basis of the students informing me what they would like to revise, go over or learn and plan acordingly for the following session, i can also help with homework set by the class teacher. Studying both the English Language, Literature and Drama at A-Level has helped me gain critical analysis, research, and essay-writing skills. Studying Drama has had a huge impact on my life. For our devised performance, we decided to concentrate on women and how they are degraded and disrespected. Our piece was dedicated to women killed due to male violence. Drama has given me the skills for teaching as it has taught me how to deal well with ever-changing circumstances, teamwork, and keep myself and others motivated. Not everything always goes according to plan; therefore, being able to adapt to different situations is highly useful. I believe that keeping motivated is vital in education; when someone does not have any motivation, it can take a toll on others around them, too. I have a positive personality that can captivate individuals effectively while maintaining a professional manner. I was a part of the RAFAC for 4 years, encouraging me to strive for perfection. HI, my name is Charlotte but everyone calls me Lottie. I have the ability to communicate with children especially those with learning disabilities as I have learned so much from having them myself. Having Dyslexia, Irlens and Hearing Processing Disorder made school really hard for me so with the right techniques that I honed over the years I was able to go to my dream university to do my dream course, Architecture. Throughout secondary school I tutored at GCSE level in the 3 sciences and the Design Subjects as this is where I thrived. I shared my techniques with all the children and it was wonderful hearing them get amazing results in their exams. I have a lot fo experience working with kids in tutoring. Outside of this I spent the summer working in a camp in America teaching kids all kinds of sports, games and arts.
