Dear Parents,
Would you like your child to enjoy learning French or Spanish but cannot find a language club?
Try our French or Spanish Clubs for Pre-school and Primary School children running online and lead by our dedicated team of experienced native speakers, based in the UK, who have been successfully delivering their 30-minute clubs online since the first lockdown in March 2020.
Developed from our well-established in-school clubs and supported by « le club français », our clubs offer children the opportunity to hear and speak French or Spanish, sing songs, make drawings and enjoy directed online games together in French or Spanish.
Members receive a songbook with soundtracks and access to our « Babelzone » website, for home-learning which is full of many of the engaging on-line videos, stories and games in French and Spanish which we use in our courses. See images of Babelzone's contents in the photo gallery below.
Testimonials:
Our daughter Ema has been enjoying French lessons with Emilie for a year and a half now. She's very happy and looks forward to every new lesson. In addition to learning a new language, the French club for our daughter was the only means of socializing with her school friends during lockdown - Marko Borovickic.
My boys have thoroughly enjoyed their online French lessons with Mme Prevost. They were initially reluctant to switch to virtual lessons but they warmed to Mme Prevost and the rest of the group immediately. She has bundles of energy and enthusiasm that is infectious! I’ve been impressed by the time taken to give each child individual feedback after each lesson. I would highly recommend this course to anyone considering it - Natasha, Dukes Soft Furnishings.
My son has been attending these lessons for two years now and is thoroughly enjoying them. The switch from face to face lessons to virtual has been smooth and Mme Prevost is so encouraging and enthusiastic my son still gets lots of enjoyment from it. Derek is great in supplying all the information that you might need, and the individual feedback which they take the time to share is so appreciated and well received it builds my son's confidence enormously and shows how much Mme Prevost clearly cares about their development and enjoyment. Bravo and Merci! - Annie Duthie.

Hello there,
I am a Spanish and English Graduate from the Russell Group University of Leeds with over 3 years tutoring experience. This began with a mixture of guided reading coaching, teacher shadowing and teaching EFL tutoring in Madrid for two consecutive summers. Here I was entrusted with independently researching and collating my own lesson plans to markedly raise the linguistic level of nine-year-old Alejandro. Within a week, Alejandro could form the second and third conditional clauses in English, a high-level requirement for a student of his age. Personally, this taught me that flexibility is paramount in engaging students and improving their confidence; there is no one-size-fits-all method to tutoring.
I currently provide professional online GCSE tuition in English Literature and Spanish for “Tutortoo”. Although I am accustomed to teaching individual pupils, I am also regularly entrusted to teach large groups of 30+ with the company “Elite Medics”. I am well-versed in Spanish AQA and Edexcel exam structures and mark schemes and am confident in my online communication and engagement. I prioritize student feedback, seeking suggestions and confirmation that tasks are fully understood. In turn, I ensure that I tailor classes around their needs and passions in order to ensure a successful academic output. I also enjoy testing consistently on topics from weeks before, to develop a long term learning method.
Within Spanish, my study placement in ‘La Universidad de Oviedo’ allowed me to grasp the colloquialisms and conversational that textbooks occasionally fail to master. Whilst I will provide you with the expected tools to meet the marking criteria, I also seek to inspire and motivate with the sense of joy and spoken confidence that I gained from my experience abroad. Other formative leadership experiences, such as teacher shadowing and guided-reading coaching, armed me with the skills to effectively communicate with Primary and Secondary school pupils in an assured manner. Through witnessing the linguistic improvements of Alejandro in Madrid and the ongoing development of my current pupil, I am assured that my optimistic attitude, paired with a thorough knowledge of my chosen subjects, facilitates the academic growth of others.
Within English, I am passionate about discovering the inner creativity in my students. Originality of ideas was the key contributor to my recent Dissertation success, as well as my A-Level achievements. I will thus not only hone the pupil’s articulate and engaging writing style but also cultivate confidence in their own instinctual ideas. For this reason, I consistently repeat the mantra that “There is no wrong answer” during my English lessons.
Regards
Ruby

Hola a tod@s, I`m Lizzie, an enthusiastic and succcessful secondary school Spanish and French teacher. Having achieved wonderful results with my students already, I am looking to move into tutoring to help more people access these wonderful languages!
WHY SHOULD YOU CONSIDER ME?!
I am an enthusiastic secondary school Spanish and French teacher with high aspirations for my students, supporting them to challenge themselves and achieve. I am currently studying for my Masters in Education, for which I am researching the use of mobile phones and technology to teach grammar in MFL.
In my first year as an A Level teacher I received 100% A-A* grades in my class. Last year, 88% of my Higher Spanish GCSE students received a grade 6 or above.
My teaching involves creating and delivering engaging and exciting lessons which motivate students. I enjoy incorporating technology into my classes and find the use of culture, such as music, is key to teaching languages. Recent examples of exciting lessons I have taught include a writing task on students’ phones using emojis and challenging Sixth Form students to act as a ‘government’ and come up with their own racism laws and policies, considering logistics and money, totally in target language, for one lesson.
I have a year of experience of teaching online as a secondary school teacher working during corona virus lockdown in 2020/2021. I am also completing my Masters in Education in online/mobile learning currently.

Over 20 years' teaching experience and prior to that 10 years using languages in export and business. Excellent working knowledge and fluency in Spanish and French, both of which I continue to regularly enhance whilst still loving the opportunity to keep learning.
As an Associate Principal Examiner and/or Examiner for both the major examination boards (AQA and Edexcel) for over 15 years, across the examined skills, I am well aware of the demands of the exams and how students can achieve their very best.
I have taught all year groups, from prep school to adults and the GCSE results my students have achieved have been consistently strong, with my pupils consistently getting higher than their predicted grade.
My focus is on making lessons fun whilst learning at the same time. I use a variety of teaching methods, personalised according to what the learner needs and how best they learn. The use of a variety of supporting material enables the whole experience to be enjoyable, engaging and productive.

I have taught Spanish for the past 15 years from GCSE to A level - achieving great results. Also, I've been in charge of EAL provision at the school where I work.
I spent a number of years living and working in Madrid and still have close family connections to Spain. I am a fluent spanish speaker.
as far as possible, lessons are based around the students' interests - I love to teach creatively and always try to make lessons engaging and communicative, so students are really motivated and keen to learn.

Returning to Spain with my loved ones stopped me from carrying on doing what I love, teaching Spanish for foreigners. This is the reason why I am looking forward to starting this new experience teaching Spanish language online and sharing my culture with new students looking into improving their skills in my native language. I have 4 years of full-time experience teaching Spanish in the private sector in a boarding school in Berkshire. I have experience with Spanish IGCSE and A-levels together with its literature based on 'La Casa de Bernarda Alba'. My aim has always been to ensure the acquisition of Spanish through strategies and techniques that make learning meaningful using active methodologies such as gamification, service learning or emotional and social learning. From my perspective, active methodologies guarantee the involvement and motivation of students in the learning process ensuring the acquisition of lifelong learning skills such as respect or empathy.
