HI! I’m Nehir. I’ve always had a passion for teaching and helping students reach their full potential. I have tutored many pupils within my own community and focus on building trust with pupils, allowing them to reach their full potential.
I am currently Head of Sociology at an Academy school in London and have 6 years experience teaching AQA GCSE and A Level Sociology. I also have 2 years experience as a Sociology examiner for paper 3: Crime and Deviance with Theories and Methods. I take pride in supporting each learners needs, whether that is through stretch and challenge or differentiated activities. I use a variety of sources such as mark schemes, examiners comments, Tutor2U and Hectic teachers to gather a vast array of resources to help students learn, which has helped my students achieve A*s in their exams.
I have taught A Level Sociology for the past 16 years. Initially I taught on the OCR specification and when the A Levels were reformed I moved to AQA. I specialise in teaching crime and deviance and stratification, but also have a lot of experience with family, education and research methods topics. Historically I have taught culture, youth and global. I am adept at creating resources for students based on their learning needs and have trained as an A Level student coach. In this role I have supported individuals and groups with motivation, organisation and exam planning. I have experience tutoring A Level Politics. I also helped prepare students for applying to Oxbridge and Russell Group universities.
Students have benefitted from my positivity and excellent subject knowledge over my many years of teaching to gain very positive results for themselves, whether this is helping students move from A's to A* to students who have been working at an E who go on to achieve a C. I am confident with supporting students with additional needs and tailor approaches to their way of learning.
Currently at Nottingham Trent University, studying Education and Psychology. I have been tutoring psychology and sociology both GCSE and A-level and absolutely LOVE the subjects.
I have dyslexia and ADHD without hyperactivity meaning I am able to offer unique and specialised ways in tutoring students as I am well acquainted with non-conventional forms of studying. I've been an educator and specialist for over seven years now. I have my degree in Politics & Human Rights Law, graduating as a Scientific Researcher. I assess social policy and train professionals to have trauma informed practice and better safeguarding.
I have the honour of hosting workshops in schools across the country, including universities, to empower young people to achieve their academic goals and advocate for their wellbeing.
As a specialist I have ample training with safeguarding adults and children, to facilitate a safe learning environment. My profession requires that I am up to date on all teaching approaches, providing support for various accessibility needs. I work with vulnerable people everyday, so no matter what assistance you need in learning I'm here to help and NEVER to judge!

I am Suk, I have done my engineering in Electrical and worked for few years in co-corporate as an Electrical and Computer science engineer and then decided to pick tutorship as this has always been my first inclination, although I am doing tutoring for last 10 years in the form of knowledge sharing, learning and development etc., and gained substantial proportion of experience in this perimeter. I think my biggest strength as a tutor is that I by my self was always an average student during by school and college days which enabled me to understand the nerve of the student and allowed me to explain any topic, subject to the most simplified module because I see myself in every student I teach and I know how difficult and frustrating it is sometimes when we struggle to understand a topic.
I believe a good teacher should be able to enunciate to the most simplified way.
Currently I am doing GCSE, A level, 11+ tutoring for Math, Physics, Chemistry and Biology for all major board AQA, OCR and Edexcel etc.
I offer bespoke tutoring assistance, helping students not only to pass exams and significantly improving their confidence and their academic grades. I'm specialized in core subjects Math’s, Triple Science exam preparation to ensure success at KS1, KS2, KS3, KS4, GCSE and A-Level classroom tests and exams.
I do both online and F2F, I use Zoom, Teams for co-coordinating the sessions and use MS Whiteboard for scribble and demonstrating the subject, which is currently the most advance and simple demonstrating online platform for teachers.
