I am an academic by profession and I have been a personal tutor for 8 years on various website including online and in person. My goal is to share my knowledge with people of all age groups who are interested in learning a foreign language and humanities subjects either for personal exams or just for fun. I also aim to make my lessons as enjoyable as possible not just for the sake of breaking the "monotony" of classroom style teaching, but also because I want to engage with my tutees in order to help them achieve their best results in the most efficient way possible. I am an experienced academic passionate about inspiring individuals to aim high. I have assisted multiple students and early career academics to acheive their goals. I worked in research and teaching roles within UK universities between 2004 and 2024 and am an Advance HE Fellow. My main areas of research and teaching expertise are in sociology and qualitative research methods. After graduating I secured a position with Eversheds for 8 years as a Costs Lawyer and bespoke tutor. The emphasis was on managing a team with responsibility for recovery of costs on behalf of large external clients, predominantly insurers and government departments as well as financial organisations.
