Hi there!
My name is Caitlin A., and I am 23 years old. I am originally from South Africa but spent www.*** years living in Dubai where I completed my secondary school education before moving to England in 2020 to study at university. I have always been very academically driven and received a distinction upon completion of the International General Certificate for Secondary Education (IGCSE) before receiving my high school diploma through the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP). Additionally, I had the opportunity to serve as Head Girl during my senior year. Presently, I am working as a singing teacher at a children's performance academy after studying Music (Songwriting and Performance) at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA) and working as a student ambassador at LIPA as well as doing casual work for their widening participation team such as leading and supporting music workshops or directing a small choir of high school students.
In addition to my experience as a student ambassador and workshop leader in a musical setting, I also worked as an assistant teacher for a kids’ theatre summer camp in Dubai. Although this was a short opportunity, I felt it was extremely beneficial in teaching me responsibility, time-management, and dedication. I also learnt how to effectively work with a team as there were other assistant teachers and an instructor. Through my work as a teacher and supporting workshop leader, I have discovered how to plan lessons that are adapted to a specific age group, experience level, learning style etc. and have gained the skills necessary to not only teach a group of students but also in a more personal one-on-one setting. In addition to the above, I completed a job shadowing internship at a modelling agency where I worked in the digital department. My duties involved researching and writing blogs for the website, and administrative work such as updating excel spreadsheets. Not only did this aid me in developing my creative writing skills but it also helped me understand the work that goes into online marketing and brand development. Furthermore, as part of my IB diploma, I completed multiple volunteering tasks in my community including but not limited to painting a mural at school, starting a welcoming committee, and volunteering at church events ( www.*** , cleaning the church).
In addition to my work as a music workshop leader, English is my first language and has always been a passion for me alongside music. I received third place in the 15-17 age group for the Oxford University Press Story Writing Competition in the UAE in 2017 and received the highest grade possible in GCSE English Language (A*) as well as receiving an A in English Literature. As for my high school diploma, I received a B in English Literature. Thus, I am highly qualified to tutor students in English (creative writing as well as literature and comprehension) in addition to supporting them with homework in the subject. With regards to Languages, I have also got a very advanced level of capabilities in French as I received the highest grade possible for my high school diploma (7/A*) and and A in GCSE French. Therefore, I am able to teach French at GCSE level and below.
Yours faithfully,
Caitlin A.

A few reviews from students:
“Liberty provides constant encouragement and incredibly helpful guidance. I thoroughly enjoy our lessons and always go away with a huge smile on my face! After listening to my voice, she recommended a few songs which compliment my voice and style perfectly. I feel so confident experimenting with songs and making them mine! Cannot recommend highly enough, thank you Liberty!”
“Amazing teacher, from lesson one I felt comfortable with Liberty. I’ve sang songs I didn’t think I was capable of reaching and also enjoyed the odd lesson where I sing the most random songs! We work with what I’m comfortable in that day, but I also have had the confidence to push into songs without the artist behind me - something I never thought I’d ever do!
100% recommend having a lesson with Liberty www.*** ;
So don’t be shy, send us a message and we will get back to you soon.

I am an Oxford graduate (Worcester College), with a degree in Literae Humaniores - Latin and Greek language and literature, as well as ancient and modern philosophy (BA 2013, MA 2016) I am also a professional classical singer and conductor, active around the UK. I am a Lay Vicar at Chichester Cathedral, where I sing professionally with the cathedral choir. Friendly, approachable, and professional, I am passionate about teaching and helping people to develop their knowledge and skills.
My business, JB Tutoring, operates from Chichester. I offer teaching and tutoring in singing, voice use, music, classical languages and classical literature. I also tutor online, so I am able to take on students from anywhere. I teach and tutor my academic subjects at a variety of levels, from pre-GCSE to undergraduate and master's level, and my students most often go on to receive A*s and 1st Class results in their examinations. I am also happy to tutor younger pupils towards Common Entrance examinations. I have experience in preparing students for Oxbridge Admissions, and offer such preparation for Classics and related subjects (including Archaeology and Philosophy - please send me a message to discuss this further). I am perfectly happy to take on casual learners - please get in touch to discuss this more.
My language teaching is based on the way in which classical languages are taught at Oxford, and I believe in the development both of analytical language skills and an instinct for the art of translation. For GCSE and A-Level, it is important for vocabulary and grammar to be secure, so I encourage a rigorous approach to language, but one that is interesting. I ask for a tutee to try their hardest - as long as they do, they will be met with an enthusiastic, patient, and understanding tutor, a tutor dedicated to his teaching and his pupil. It is vital to tailor sessions to the student, and I customise my lessons for each student I have based on their needs.

Tailored lessons to suit you: I am here to guide you on your musical journey, whatever that my look like. I will listen and adapt my lessons to meet specific needs and abilities to ultimately, help you achieve whatever you desire from your lessons. My 12 years of professional musical training means I have a vast range of musicality and can be specific to your individual wishes. I have taught musicians from all ages and abilities and feel passionate about helping others meet their own personal or professional goals. London College of Music Grades (Popular Music and Musical Theatre): I reflect on the LCM syllabus to restructure enthusiastic and end engaging lesson plans that make the grades fun and inspiring. As I did these grades myself and experienced the daunting feeling that may be presented with them, approaching these with positivity and patience helps younger students to gradually build confidence in their craft. Students will feel comfortable in initial lessons as they get to lead lessons, singing the songs that they love to sing. I will encourage students and break down songs into smaller sections addressing areas with simple call and response techniques to help improve with: - Pitch - Rhythm - Vocal tone - Dynamics. - Aural training I won’t overwhelm beginner students with technical aspects, but I will draw attention to these fundamental elements of music and assess posture and the overall relaxation of the body. As the eldest of 6 siblings, interacting with a younger age range comes very naturally to me; I keep lessons exiting and very interactive and you’ll be guaranteed to walk away from our lessons feeling fulfilled and with a smile on your face! For in-between lessons I prepare a breakdown of the things we have covered and things you can practice between lessons as habitual practice as it will help to speed up your development. Popular Music and Musical Theatre lessons are available from grades 1-3. Improving Vocal Ability (adjusted to your level): When working with singers with experience, who want to enhance their technical abilities, I incorporate: - Breath-work Exercises (Air-flow) - Diaphragm engagement - Effective warm up exercises - Expanding vocal agility through exercises - Resonance techniques - Projection training - Vowel modification - Emotional engagement training I let the singer navigate the lessons with content that they would like to practice, for current projects that they may need help elevating. I help to break down methods of learning through visual and metaphorical ways such as: - Emotionally mapping songs to sing with intention, (including original song-writing material). - Using different ‘modes’ of the voice for different effects (Whisper, whimper, cry, shout). - ‘The vocal vehicle’ imagining the vocal autonomy as a sophisticated and powerful car. My aim is to help you improve on your vocal skills but also to help you become an all round talented musician- enabling you to make informed musical choices. Vocal Lessons (Non- singers): I have also worked with non-singers such as, Authors who want to public speak with clarity, presence, gravitas and projection, including emotional engagement to the content they would like to present/ record. As a dedicated passionate musician, my aim is to really help inspire you to be the best musician and vocalist you can be. Examinations: London College of Music Grades Achieved: Grade 8- (Distinction) in Popular Music Grade 7- (Distinction) in Musical Theatre ABRSM Grade achieved: Grade 5- (Pass) in Music Theory Leeds Music Conservatoire (University): I recently graduated with a 1st Class BA (Hons), Popular Music Degree excelling in: - Specialist and Collaborative study (Musical Technique solo and band practice) - Live Music Management (Live Events) - Extended Music Improvisation - Contextual studies (broader range of musical varieties, analysing musicology through historical developments of styles, influences, cultural themes and ethnomusicology. I have performed professionally in vast range of venues from Andrew Lloyd Webbers, 'Her Majesties Theatre' (2013), 'The Gala Concert' at University representing my year group (2019), to Wedding Ceremonies (2023) and even starring as 'Maria', in The Sound of Music Production (2018). For enquiries based on home tuition lessons in Central London, please contact me and I will verify if the travel distance is possible!

Hi all. I'm Beatrice, I'm from Italy and I come from a musical family. I was involved in singing since the age of 5 and started taking singing lessons at the age of 12. When I was 15, I started teaching kids from 12yo at my brother's music school in Italy. In 2015 I moved to London to continue my music career. Today I'm a qualified vocal coach. I've studied Pop, Rock, Jazz and Contemporary styles at BIMM London and graduated with a first. I works as a backing vocalist and session singer.
The teaching method I use in my lessons is part of the MVT training. It consists in creating a balance between your chest voice, head voice and your mixed, focusing on stretching the vocal folds and removing any body tension. Voice and artistic growth are very vast subjects. The conjunction of several techniques and methods help students unleash their full potential. First approach would be to identify and have a diagnosis in order to create a plan that will help reach your goal.
Lessons can take place in person at her house or online, if agreed. They can be 1 hour or 30 minutes long depending on the experience and level of the student.
I have 2 ways of assessing my students. One is a simple 5 tone scale exercise. Such exercise requires a bigger effort and therefore is very efficient for me to understand the level of the student. The exercise starts from the chest voice and continues past the bridge which is usually where the voice break could happen and continues towards the head/mixed voice. Bridges vary depending on whether it is a man of a woman. This is a good way of understanding students full range and if they struggle anywhere along the way up. After that, I ask you to sing a short song to see if your way of singing is the same as the previous exercise. I prefer to do the song too because most of the time, students execute both tasks very differently. After the assessment, we take a few minutes to discuss what I have heard and then we make a plan towards the final goal we want to achieve together. My second approach includes 2-3 minutes of warm up exercises mixed with technique exercises to help overcome the weaknesses in the voice. The rest of the lesson is spent singing a song we choose. I will also look at breathing technique, vocal effects (cry-twang-creak-growl) and agility which can be improved with a few exercises.
Don't hesitate to get in touch with me if interested!.

ABOUT ME:
Graduated from two degrees: BA (Hons) Jazz and Contemporary Music in Liceu Conservatory (Barcelona) + BA (Hons) Music Production & Performance in Solent University (UK). I've been working as a live musician, recording artist, session singer, songwriter, producer and studio coach for many signed recording artists including Fabbio (Universal Music). I have an extensive vocal training by renowned professionals both in the UK and Spain such as: Clarissa Land, David Phillips, Ian Davidson, Lee Loo, Helen Rowson, Miguel Manzo, and Yasmina Azlor. I've received intense training in the following renowned methods:
- Estill Voice Training (EVT) - Complete Vocal Technique (CVT) - Speech Level Singing (SLS)
My lessons are planned according to your objectives and needs. You'll notice improvement every week and enough material for your own practise in my online platform. In the first lesson, I'll lay out a plan on how we'll reach your goals together. Try in person lessons in my studio in West Kensington!
TECHNIQUE
You'll learn vocal technique in an understandable way that can be felt and controlled. I designed a technique course from my own experience after years of study, and teaching 100+ singers. The best knowledge from Estill Voice Training (EVT), Complete Vocal Technique (CVT) and Speech Level Singing (SLS) will be imparted.
You will realise that your whole body is involved in singing and you'll notice the drastic changes that make the proper understanding of larynx movements, breathing, posture, jaw, tongue, among others.
I will always make sure that you sing in a healthy way and never hurt your voice. No doubts will be left unresolved!
STYLE / ARTISTIC DEVELOPMENT
As you develop technique, we can work on defining your voice and musical style. We will improve the timbre and we will work on different stylistic resources and effects such as vibrato. We will identify and enhance the best of your voice, and we will work and develop new skills.
REPERTOIRE AND PERFORMANCE
We will tackle the songs you want to work on and you'll notice a big improvement as we work on them. You'll apply what we have learned and I'll identify problems that arise when singing your chosen music. If you want to record them professionally with quality sound, we will do it with my resources. (I am a professional producer).
ADDITIONAL SKILLS: SONGWRITING, PRODUCTION AND PIANO
Depending on your objectives, we can work on other musical aspects. Many students compose and want to learn more tools and tricks to compose more freely. Others want to accompany themselves on the piano better. I am also an active songwriter and composer, I learned from experts such as Paul Statham (Warner Chapell: Kylie Minogue, Dido). I am also a pianist. I can help you and give you the most practical tools to create music, sing it, and make work. Classes always have the option to add a dedicated piano extension, or songwriting and music theory, or production.

Hi there!
My name is Faith and I'm a classically trained singer originally from Nottingham. Although I have a Bachelors degree in operatic singing I enjoy singing all styles. As a Musical theatre lover I've been honoured to sing professionally as a 'classical crossover' artist around the world - including cruises, major concert halls and arenas.
During my Bachelor of Music degree I adapted myself to the core of singing and began to understand the depths of how music makes me feel. A lot of this learning has been reciprocated through my performances, not just through voice but acting too!
After a few television appearances, including Britains got talent (2019) I became an ambassador for Rainbows children hospice and I have helped raise www.*** million for worthy causes which are very close to my heart.
Music is a rewarding gift in which I enjoy teaching and inspiring others. I am proud to have taught junior and senior students for four years at various schools around the country involving workshops, 1-1 lessons, choirs, and ensemble classes.
