I’m a passionate and experienced science and Maths teacher with over 15 years of teaching Maths and Science at KS3 and Science GCSE. I’ve worked as a Head of Science and currently lead as a practitioner and examiner, which gives me a detailed understanding of how to unlock student success across different exam boards. I care deeply about helping young people achieve their goals—whether that’s gaining confidence in class, securing a pass, or reaching for a top grade. My mission is simple: to make science enjoyable, accessible, and something every student can feel proud of mastering.
Whether you're aiming for a grade 9 or working hard to secure that all-important pass, my tutoring is tailored to meet you where you are and help you move forward. I’ve supported students from all backgrounds—many from grammar schools with high aspirations, and just as many who have struggled with motivation or confidence. I bring empathy, patience, and energy to every session. My experience in mainstream schools means I understand the unique needs of neurodivergent learners, and I create a safe, supportive space where everyone can thrive. I believe in every student’s potential, and nothing motivates me more than seeing learners grow, overcome challenges, and succeed.
My sessions are dynamic, engaging, and designed to make learning stick. Rooted in evidence-based strategies, I use tools like retrieval practice, live modelling, word etymology, and vocabulary breakdowns to build understanding in a memorable and meaningful way. Science is a subject full of wonder, and I aim to bring that to life—whether through real-world connections, interactive techniques, or simply helping students see complex ideas in a new, clearer light. My approach is personalised, flexible, and always focused on helping you feel confident, capable, and ready to succeed in your exams—and beyond.

I am an enthusiastic and results-driven tutor specializing in Maths (Primary, Secondary, and A-Level), Physics (Secondary and A-Level), and Spanish (Primary and Secondary). My goal is to help students not only achieve excellent grades but also develop a deeper understanding of their subjects and gain confidence in problem-solving.
Since November 2024, I have worked in a secondary school and college in Liverpool, tutoring and supporting GCSE and A-Level Maths and Physics students. I have experience leading group support sessions and providing one-on-one tutoring, ensuring that each student gets tailored guidance suited to their learning style. Whether it's mastering exam techniques, breaking down complex topics, or building confidence, I adapt my teaching approach to fit each student’s needs.

Hi, I am currently on a PhD program at the university of Salford where I also work as an academic tutor helping with module delivery and conducting laboratory sessions. As the teaching year is drawing to a close, I have found myself with a lot of free time where I can help use my knowledge andexpertise to help coach you or your children to help get the best possible grade in their exams. I have around 2 years of teaching experience at the University of Salford and have been popular among the students for multiple reasons, key of which being my age and recent experience in Education means I'm familiar with the challenges that studnets are facing at each stage of their education and can help with general guidance outside of the main core course subject aswell. Outside of teaching, I am also a volunteer heling with the restoration and maintainance of old aircraft which are on public display in Liverpool.

I have Masters in Engineering and Degree in Chemistry. Furthermore, I have been a teacher for over 11 years. I have a variety of teaching methods to communicate with all students however diverse. When teaching each topic I incorporate a past exam paper question during each session, as this provides evidence of the required standard. 15 years teaching experience. Starting as a practical demonstrator at Liverpool University and now delivering GCSE Biology Chemistry and Physics and KS3 science. I have taught A level with excellent results in the past but under the old specification so I'm charging more for A-level as it will take longer for me to prepair specification matched activities.
