I am a dedicated and experienced science educator with a passion for helping students succeed. I have been tutoring for seven years and have been a qualified teacher for five, during which I also worked as a teaching assistant. This has given me valuable experience in supporting students of all abilities, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN). As the Second in Charge of Science at my school, I play a key role in shaping the curriculum and ensuring high-quality education for all. I have vast experience teaching KS3 and KS4, covering all three sciences—Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. I believe that every child deserves a world-class education, and I am committed to helping my students build confidence, deepen their understanding, and achieve their full potential.

Hi, I’m Tobias – a teacher and homeschooling specialist based in London with nearly 15 years of experience. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of helping students from all backgrounds and abilities achieve their goals. I have 22 years teaching experience. I have taught Chemistry to GCSE, BTEC and GNVQ and A Level Chemistry to Year 12. I have also taught Biology to GCSE Level and Physics to KS3 Level. I have Primary experience in both KS1 and KS2.
I have a number of year tutoring experience for Chemistry and all my tutees have passed their GCSE.
Lesson will consist of prepared notes which will be discussed during the tutoring sessions. There will be supported by use of worksheets and then exam style questions. Each lesson will be based on specific areas of the syllabus that is intended to support the work that is being undertaken in the classroom. This will follow the part of the syllabus being taught in the classroom, to support and re-inforce student learning.
I use videos to support learning and these will be showed used a laptop. I will use a projector (if it is possible). If the student wishes to only look at specific areas if the syllabus, then I will undertake to produce material to support this request.
I gained membership of the Royal Society of Chemistry and have undertaken volunteer work for them. I also volunteer in the Science Museum in South Kensington for the last 8 years.
