However, I became more passionate about Computer programming when studying my mechanical engineering. Ever since I have not only mastered C programming but also worked as an application software developer at Changhong Electric India Pvt. Ltd. I have learnt python programming and I'm well versed with data structures and basics of ML. No previous programming experience is necessary. Tuition is available both locally (Newmarket and Cambridge area) and nationally (via Skype, Zoom or similar, using screen sharing).
For A-level and GCSE students, I produce a comprehensive spreadsheet to keep track of their progress - listing each part of the course syllabus, including my own notes on the topics and links to relevant resources. I also maintain a number of YouTube playlists of videos relevant to the courses.
I have been tutoring since 2015, during which time I have tutored over 200 students at all levels.
I have written articles on game development for Wireframe magazine - e.g. Coding Space Invaders’ disintegrating shields, and was a major contributor to Code the Classics, published by Raspberry Pi Press.

I'm enthusiastic about science and have a specific interest in Astrophysics. I have a PhD in Physics and Astronomy from the University of Southampton.
To fund my PhD, I received a Mayflower scholarship, which required me to teach 25% of my time there. I assisted teaching of several different courses ranging from first to fourth year physics including maths, laboratories, electromagnetism etc.
I also helped to mark problem sheets, exams, course work as well as presentations. Moreover, I was a tutor and had regular tutorials with my tutees. I guided them academically whilst also making sure that they were settling in well into university life.
As part of my teaching experience at university, I have taught students with a range of abilities and from different cultural backgrounds, including non-native speakers.
I am experienced online tutor in Maths and Science. Sessions are held via Zoom and I use a writing tablet to go through ideas, concepts and calculations. I always adapt the content of my sessions to suit the different exam boards and curricula.

I understand that each person has a different learning style and I adapt my tutoring sessions to reflect this. I'm friendly and personable and aim to put every student at ease because learning shouldn't be stressful.
