Providing tuition for all ages at pupils homes only.
Based in West London, I been tutoring for the last 25 years all ages and ABRSM grades, inspiring them to learn and play four hands repertoire, as well as preparing for ABRSM exams. I'm tutoring pupils for their own pleasure or ABRSM grades, in relaxed, positive, encouraging and motivational atmosphere towards achieving better levels of performance. From classical to contemporary and popular music, the choice is yours. All that matters is having joy of playing music, whether beginner, intermediate or advanced. 12 years of experience, piano or keyboard is perfectly fine with me, what matters the most is enthusiasm and genuine desire to improve. I'm based in West London, references upon request.

Dominique is a recent Master's graduate from the Royal College of Music and has teaching experience of over five years. In line with her passion for sharing music, she believes that anyone can succeed at learning to play an instrument with the right support and environment. Using some elements of the Suzuki method, such as listening, imitation, and memorisation, and combining these with note-reading, rhythm, and musicianship skills (playing alongside other musicians/recording), Dominique can see her pupils make significant progress in each lesson. Because playing an instrument is physically challenging, it is essential to spend a constant amount of personal time for practice between lessons, which Dominique recognizes from her own experience as demanding. This is why, in each lesson, she discusses and makes a plan with her pupil regarding the practice structure, as well as being available for any questions during the week, on the phone and via email.

Education has always been a central part of my life. I began my teaching career at the age of nineteen and have now been dedicated to this profession for over six years. My key strengths include the ability to communicate complex information in an engaging and accessible manner, effective teamwork, and professional problem-solving.
Four years ago, while living in Ukraine, I joined the music group Mallerota, whose tracks have been broadcast on Ukrainian radio. We continuously create new music and film videos, maintaining an active presence in the industry.
Now residing in the UK, I frequently organize piano recitals to raise funds for my home country. I have performed in various towns across Surrey and London. I can teach you not only how to play the piano but also how to present and represent yourself professionally on stage.

Personal Description:
I'm a trainee Music Therapist studying at Guildhall School of Music and Drama, enrolled as a jazz pianist. Piano has always been my passion, achieving Grade 8 when I was only 11. Since then I have studied at Newcastle University achieving a First Degree in BA (Hons) Music before working at Oakham School as their Graduate Musician. I'm an award winning composer (NMSW Young Composer Award 2015) and an award winning performer (STAGE Edinburgh Award 2018: Timpson: The Musical) who also works extensively as an audio engineer and podcast producer. At 23 I'm a young, enthusiastic face who can offer in-face and online teaching.
Tutoring Experience:
I worked as a jazz piano tutor at Oakham School but also for early lessons in classical. Asides from this I tutored KS3 music and music theory classes up to Grade 8 ABRSM.
Tutoring Approach:
As a music therapist I have to work to try and compliment everybody's innate musicality. Because of this I can easily adapt teaching to fit the needs of the student. I am a great believer in off-the-book learning and have seen myself the benefit of taking classical skills (scales, harmony, technique) and applying them to aural learning and improvisation. I think that the piano is something that anybody can love if they have the right person to teach them that.
