I graduated from the University of Surrey in July 2023 with a 2:1 degree in BSc Business Economics. For my first two years, I studies BSc Mathematics and Economics but for my final year, I decided to change my degree to Business Economics since I had more of a passion for Business. I studied Mathematics, Further Mathematics and Economics for my A-Levels and scored ABB respectfully. I scored a grade 9 in GCSE Mathematics (A*) , grade 7 (A) in GCSE English Literature and Language and an A* in GCSE Further Mathematics, scoring 4A*s , 6As and 1B. Mathematics has always been my favourite subject and I also very much enjoy teaching it to other people. I also have a musical background, particularly within playing the piano and keyboard. I am a Grade 8 pianist and I am very close to completion. I am looking to tutor piano or keyboard for people who want to play for pleasure and I am not looking to teach grades or prepare anyone for examinations. My specialty revolves around playing Bollywood and English piano covers.

I hold an ARCM (Associate of the Royal College of Music) in teaching. I studied performance at the Opera School at the Royal College of Music. I charge £30 for 30 minutes, £40 for 45 minutes, £45 an hour - Where do you teach? I teach at home in London, N20. The nearest tube is Totteridge/Whetstone on the Northern line. It is a 10 minute walk from the station, or you could take a bus for 2 stops. There is plenty of free parking outside the house. - When are you available? Mario R. started his musical journey at the age of 9 and was inspired by his father and a friend from school to take up the piano. Mario attended Arcevia Jazz Feast Summer Camp from 2008 to 2013 which led to masterclasses in Improvisation, Music Harmony, Composition, Arrangement, Bass Technique, Ear Training with some of the biggest artists and composers in the world music scene that included George Garzone, Bob Brookmeyer, Ayn Inserto, Scott Henderson, Gary Willis, John Stowell, Bob Mintzer, Dave Holland, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Scott Henderson and more. In 1990, Mario began studying bass guitar and playing also piano and keyboard in several bands.
Since 1997, Mario has been teaching music privately in schools while working as a professional musician in several Italian and UK bands. His musical expertise as a performer and teacher spans genres from Rock, Blues, Funk, Jazz, Latin and Electronic music.
In 2013 he moved to London where he is now based and completed his Bachelor's degree at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance and specialised in Jazz Performance and Composition.

I am a composer and musician and at the age of 16 I was one of the youngest students to study percussion at the Royal Northern College of Music. After graduating I started working in London as a Freelance percussionist in all styles of music including regular work with the BBC Symphony Orchestra and the London Sinfonietta. I became the last Solo Percussionist with Sir Peter Maxwell Davis’s contemporary ensemble: The Fires of London. I was commissioned to write music for Sir John Gielgud’s reading of Lear’s Nonsense Poetry. In 1981 I started working with Steven Berkoff (Actor/Director) as composer/performer and collaborated many of his stage, TV and radio productions including: West, Greek, On the Water Front, Berkoff’s Messiah and Richard II. One of my first compositions was a Vibraphone solo called ‘Blues for Gilbert’. I am currently releasing some new recordings and composing an exciting new musical called: Seven and a Half Years.
As a teacher I have many years of experience teaching piano, percussion, vocal coaching, composition and theory. Also, GCSE and A Level composition tutoring.

Hi. My name is Tarquin www.*** I teach an assortment of musical threads, mainly piano and theory, and also in composition, be it songwriting or film soundtracks. I am a flexible teacher, in that I try to meet the learner wherever they are at, and seek to teach them in a way that suits their learning style. My background is both classroom teaching and ono-to-one peripatetic and I have taught throughout all Key Stages and all abilities. I am also well versed in Music Technology (and have taught it) which I use to create soundtracks, and ambient pieces.

I'm a trainee Music Therapist studying at Guildhall School of Music and Drama, enrolled as a jazz pianist. Piano has always been my passion, achieving Grade 8 when I was only 11. Since then I have studied at Newcastle University achieving a First Degree in BA (Hons) Music before working at Oakham School as their Graduate Musician. I'm an award winning composer (NMSW Young Composer Award 2015) and an award winning performer (STAGE Edinburgh Award 2018: Timpson: The Musical) who also works extensively as an audio engineer and podcast producer. At 23 I'm a young, enthusiastic face who can offer in-face and online teaching.

I worked as a jazz piano tutor at Oakham School but also for early lessons in classical. Asides from this I tutored KS3 music and music theory classes up to Grade 8 ABRSM.

As a music therapist I have to work to try and compliment everybody's innate musicality. Because of this I can easily adapt teaching to fit the needs of the student. Education always was the main part of my life. I started my teaching career at the age of nineteen years old and still doing this job for more than 5 years already. My main skills are next: have the ability to communicate complex information in a simple and entertaining manner, know how to be a team player and resolve problems professionally.
In Ukraine i used to be a part of music group which was quite popular due to the fact that our music was broadcasted on Ukrainian radio. Also we were filming video clips and recording new music non stop.
In the UK I often arrange piano recitals and collect money for Ukraine. I was playing in Guildford, Shere and London during this year. So, I can teach you not only how to play the piano, but also how to perform and represent yourself professionally.
I have a composer with a vast knowledge of orchestration and a good knowledge of music technologies. In addition to Composition and Orchestration, which I teach at all levels, including the university level, I also teach Guitar, Piano and Music Technology at an advanced level.
