Head of Science: As the Head of Science, I have overseen all aspects of the Science Department, ensuring that students receive the best possible education in the subject and I have taken a strategic role in enhancing exam success. 4. I currently work in a secondary school in the West Midlands and have been teaching all 3 disciplines for many years. I am a very experienced teacher with an excellent record of pupil acheivement. I believe that any pupil can do well and make excellent progress if they are taught not only the correct knowledge and content for the exam board but also the skills needed to answer GCSE questions in the exam. I attend exam board hub meetings regularly and keep up to date with any changes and recommendations from previous examinations. This information is crucial to pass on to pupils so that they know what the exam questions are asking and how to create a response which will score maximum marks in their examination.
