I’ve been tutoring GCSE and A-Level Maths and Physics for over four years, with more than 1,000 hours of online tutoring experience. Having achieved top grades in my own A-Levels just five years ago and recently graduating top of my cohort with First-Class Honours in Physics from the University of Nottingham, I know the subject content inside out and what it takes to excel in exams.

Hi, I am currently a 2nd Year Medical Student at Keele University. In addition to this, I have also obtained a biomedical sciences degree with a first class honours from St George's University of London. I am based in London and have been tutoring online for over 4 years with a 100% pass rate. I offer A level biology tuition as well as GCSE triple and combined sciences or separate sciences as required. I offer a free 45 minute free trial session to get to know the student and show my teaching style, this allows me to build a relationship with each individual and tailor my sessions to this. I love teaching children and have always prioritised their education through each session by asking them what they would like to be taught. I also make it clear that I am able to answer any queries they have about the topic outside of sessions to provide them extra support that no other tutor does. I go over and beyond to understand my students and work alongside them by sending them topic checklists and plan each session according to their weakest topics. The structure of my sessions follows this: 30 minutes of taught content and 30 minutes of exam style questions. I ensure they apply their knowledge within the session as this prepares them for any and all mock/real exams throughout the year. Each lesson begins with a run-through of the topic and explanation of key concepts with opportunities for pupils to ask questions. Students are then provided with high yield exam questions and worksheets to complete. Questions are then marked together to highlight areas of strength and areas of improvement. An emphasis is always maintained on exam technique during each lesson. Assessments to determine student improvement are provided every 4-6 weeks.
All students are taught how to study effectively using two evidence-based study techniques:
1) Active Recall - Here students create useful revision questions to test their memory of certain topics
2) Spaced Repetition - Here students are taught how to strategically review topics regularly and boost their chances of remembering important exam content throughout the year and leading up to exams.
My classes are always tailored with a personalised programme for each and every student and remain friendly and engaging. All resources including specialised notes for each exam board, revision questions and exam question related to the tutees exam board are provided free of charge. Tuition goes beyond the `hour slot` as students are able to contact me via phone, email and tutor hunt messaging. I also remain engaged with the lesson and do not `clock-watch`.

I am a physics graduate from UCL and I am currently studying a masters in Clinical Science (Medical Physics) at KCL as part of the scientist training programme. I have a profound love for all things related to mathematics and wish to bring my passion for maths in tutoring and allow other students to also grasp this simple yet complex beauty. I am a funny, bubbly and friendly tutor who has never achieved below A grades in both my gcses and A-Levels and will make sure my students also mirror this. I am tutoring in maths and physics, these subjects are second nature to me and i feel completely comfortable and confident to teach them to a high standard.
