Prior to teaching I have worked in life science Reasearch and Development and in Biopharamceutical research, sales and marketing. I also worked a part-time voluntary teaching assistant in primary and seconday schools for 2 years. In 2014 I decided to change career completely to become a science teacher, so I trained at Kings College, graduating with my PGCE in 2015.
My background prior to teaching brings additional experience and skills to my teaching. Chemistry is my specialist subject. I have taught and tutored all sciences successfully to years 7 to 11, and have taught and tutored Chemistry and Biology at A level.

I am a Qualified Physics teacher, currently teaching in a state school. My tutoring approach is flexible moulding my teaching style according to students understanding. I am a Physics specialist and currently Head of Physics & Head of Year in the school I work at. I have been teaching for over 18 years now and have been proud to see many of my ex students pass their exams with flying colours. Some of the students I have taught are now working at CERN as a Particle Physicist, one has completed a PHd in Astrophysics and another is now a pilot.
