We have a dedicated covid secure classroom. We have an extremely comprehensive equipment store to cover all the experiments for GCSE and A level Science (Biology, Chemistry and Physics). This enables the students to take part in experiments which enhances their learning.
Since the lockdown, our response was to transition, virtually overnight, our teaching online. The tutor’s hands became the student’s hands and the cameras their eyes, the microphone and speakers became their voice and ears. With the power of a broadcast switcher, the student did not have one view but many, depending on what was needed. In addition, we decided to live stream tutorials on YouTube going through GCSE and A level Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Biology, topic by topic, week by week utilising all our equipment for experiments. This was to develop a resource for all not just our own students.

I have been teaching Science in the UK for the last 26 years and have tutored as well for the three years. I have been an examiner for Edexcel for the last 6 years. I have been a Head of Science. I am UK trained and qualified and have been DBS checked. I have a lot experience working with SEND students and always look to support young people to do their best. I have taught all three Sciences and Maths to GCSE and Biology to A-level for 26 years. I am passionate about my subjects and really enjoy teaching and helping my students. I have a thorough knowledge of both Edexcel and AQA for GCSE and have effectively taught for both exam boards. I have taught both OCR and Edexcel for A-level Biology.
