I can make Chemistry, which is arguably the hardest subject at A-level, accessible to all in a fun and logical manner which not only builds subject knowledge, but boosts confidence in every aspect of their lives. I give them a 'can-do-attitude' and all my students would be the first to admit it.
With the knowledge of state and independent sector, I am equipped to deliver the highest standard and I will not settle for an average grade. I have knowledge of various exam boards and unlike others, I have a substantial knowledge of all major exam boards including international as well as IB boards. It's my job to know the key differences between boards so let me guide you.

A well-motivated, versatile, and quick learning individual after graduation took on a challenge to live in India over the last 10 years. The opportunity allowed her to contribute her background and exposure of the UK education towards India's education system to create a new foundation for the current and new generations. There was also a great opportunity to teach students there, how to speak English as they were only fluent in Gujarati and Hindi. While working at the Gujarati school in London the role consists of: Teaching and creating classwork from the foundations of the language to the complexities, ensuring pupils are able to speak, read, and write. Also worked with training teaching assistants to become classroom teachers or work with focus pupils. Currently has been working with various age group of students online teaching them how to read, write and speak Gujarati through a fun and interactive approach.
Prior to teaching I have worked in life science Reasearch and Development and in Biopharamceutical research, sales and marketing. I also worked a part-time voluntary teaching assistant in primary and seconday schools for 2 years. In 2014 I decided to change career completely to become a science teacher, so I trained at Kings College, graduating with my PGCE in 2015.
My background prior to teaching brings additional experience and skills to my teaching. Chemistry is my specialist subject. I have taught and tutored all sciences successfully to years 7 to 11, and have taught and tutored Chemistry and Biology at A level.
I specialise in Online English tuition, covering all texts in the GCSE and KS3, along with essay writing practice and exam revision. My services also include online adult functional skills tuition. My mission is to help students become more confident in their English skills and to provide them with the tools and strategies for success.
A little about me in the school setting
My roles have allowed me to build on a range of areas that I have been interested in for some time. My focus on ‘pedagogy’ has been developed towards ‘praxis’ – the idea that one reflects and acts uponp ractice to transform it. What I have learnt is that a narrow focus on the classroom isn’t enough. Instead,an effective system is one which develops productive and synergistic relationships between learners,families, and the community, and that a deep understanding of the context in which you work, the locality and the culture in which learners live is crucial. I believe we have started on exciting journey here proceeding and developing positively on recent Ofsted feedback – building on those to ensure that learning really is a community endeavour in the best possible sense. My ‘curriculum’ will not stop at the door of a classroom, or the school gate but will be a transforming powerhouse for all living in the community. This, in practical terms could be parenting support in the form of coaching and peer support; providing evening classes in basic skills, parental revision classes to help them best assist their child. It could be using the school buildings as a base of local CPD provision, for meetings, for collaboration among local departments.

I have been a qualified teacher since 2009 and taught in a variety of state and private schools in Kent, London, and Surrey. I graduated from the University of Cambridge with a 2:1 in Theology and Religious Studies and was awarded my MA in 2010.

I know what techniques are needed for students to thrive and to have a good learning environment. Along with that, I know what techniques are needed to answer exam questions, so that they can do really well, and for them to find their true potential, but most importantly, for students to have a positive and enthusiastic approach to learning. Bristol exposed me to all sorts of music, including rock, jazz, world music, and more. I played my first shows and worked with over five different local bands, gaining valuable experience. In 2006, I moved to London to study at Tech Music Schools, known as "Drum Tech," where I completed my higher education and earned a BMUS in Popular Music Performance (Hons), licensed by West London University. After completing my degree in 2011, I worked exclusively as a performing drummer and drum teacher, giving private lessons in my own studio, Oktopus Music Services, in North West London. In the past nine years, I've had the privilege of performing, recording, and writing with some of the best musicians in the London and U.K. scene, such as Kevin Glasgow (one of Europe's best bassists), Robin Banerjee (Amy Winehouse's guitarist), Roberto Manzin (Zucchero), Felipe Martíns (Emeterians), Juan Whist (The Voice National Spanish TV), and many others. I've showcased in most of London's live music venues and with the best U.K. and European entertainment agencies, such as Scarlett Entertainment, Full Stop Entertainment, and more.
