I am a professional bassist living in East Sussex, England. I've been playing music for as long as I can remember but professionally for the last 5-8 years.
I do all kinds of work from: Studio recording, live shows, composing, and teaching.
It's my goal to help you get a better understanding of the bass and the techniques needed to play. I like to help you learn the songs you want to learn and get you to were you want to be. I'll show you all the tips and tricks and theory how I see it but most importantly I want to taylor the lessons to be around what your own goals with the instrument are.

Online Music Recording Lessons
In my professional work I have been envolved in anything from creating the rock music for an internationally released film, to mixing pop and dance for commercial release, not only this, but I have taught for many years, both in 1-1 environments and in larger class settings.
As mentioned before, I have a wide range of experiences teaching. I aim to implement my professional work within my teaching, for example, showing students the mix for a song I worked on, I explain how I completed the mix, what techniques were used and how they can achieve a similar sound, I then will give them the stems for the project and ask them to work on the track themselves! My goal is to make the student feel as welcome as possible, with the greatest improvement possible in a short time span.

I am an audio engineer and guitarist, with over four years of experience teaching. I believe the best approach to teaching is that the student should always leave the lesson having a good understanding of what was taught in the session.

Hi All!
I am Marty, I am the Owner/Director and one of the tutors at Double M Studios.
I decided to launch DMS due to the passion I have for music and to make it a platform to be able to offer opportunities to students and adult learners that they may not be able to get anywhere else.
Music has been part of my life for a very long time. I was lucky enough to have two of the most amazing guitar tutors that anybody could have asked for. One of which became a very big inspiration for what I am doing now.
