My goal is to always ensure that my students are enjoying their lessons and what they are learning. Achieving this ensures that my students can gain confidence and independence, and thus they are able to learn independently. I also teach my students organisational and study skills that can help them achieve improved results and that can help them in their future educational journeys. I am experienced in teaching students of various levels and in various numbers. I have had experience teaching classes with 10+ students as well as teaching individual students in one-to-one sessions via online platforms or in-person. Through my patience and ability to break complicated problems into small understandable information, I can provide my students with easy solutions to the problems they are facing and struggling with. I also believe in the "practice makes perfect" approach and therefore I tend to challenge my students to ensure that they get "the best" results instead of only "good" results. As a result, I always try to give my students something to work on before meeting them again. Finally, through my experience, I have been blessed by attaining considerable love and respect from my students and I have been proud of seeing plenty of improved results and a change in the mentalities of my students.
Hi! My name is Huda H. and I am from Crawley, West Sussex. I graduated from the University of Northumbria. I did a bachelors degree on Bio Medical Science. I am currently a Maths and Science Tutor. I have experience in tutoring female students for GCSE and A-Level Mathematics and Science for three years. I started tutoring primary students during my GCSE'S. After sucessfully completing my degree, with a second class honours, I wanted to make teaching as my profession. I have been able to help students who were facing a lot of difficulties in understanding the subject by breaking it down step by step making the topic more interesting and easier for the students. I have been able to help my students get through their exams and achieve the best results. I am currently working part time as a Maths Teacher for year 11 students at Oxbridge Online School. I conduct my lessons online via zoom/google meets and I do in person tuition at my home. I provide presentation slides for my students for each subject i teach so that they can refer the slides in the future. I make sure I go step by step when teaching my students. The exam boards I am currently aware of are Cambridge, Edexcel, AQA and OCR.

My last post as a Learning Support Teacher involved working with children with an identified Special Need eg: Autism, Dyslexia, Dyscalcula and/or Behavioural Problems. Also EAL children as I am also a qualified TEFL teacher.

Since completing my teacher training (PGCE) in Secondary Mathematics at the University of Sussex in 2015, I have worked as a Maths teacher and Assistant Head of Department in two schools. I worked at Dorothy Stringer Secondary School in Brighton, teaching KS3-KS4 for three years and I now teach KS3-KS5 at St Paul's Catholic College in Burgess Hill. I have always loved maths and I am really passionate about helping others to understand maths topics and to feel confident in their ability.
I have extensive experience in preparing students for their GCSE maths exams (Foundation or Higher) and A Level maths exams (Pure, Statistics and Mechanics). Over the years, I have taught students with a variety of needs and abilities. In my lessons, students are not only able to revise and revisit subjects they are struggling with, but they are able to do so in a one on one supportive environment that differs significantly to a classroom environment. In my lessons, I do not cover the entire course content of mathematics, but rather specific topics that your child may be struggling with. I will start off by helping to make a list of each topic and labelling them as to which is the most important topics to revise and which are the least. I also offer mock exam sessions and other various different types of tutoring.
I want to give you the most effective learning experience possible, so prior to the session telling me the class materials you're using will be very useful so I can do my due diligence before the session. This is so I can give you the most concise and understandable explanation of how to do the problems and understand the material.
