Since completing my teacher training (PGCE) in Secondary Mathematics at the University of Sussex in 2015, I have worked as a Maths teacher and Assistant Head of Department in two schools. I worked at Dorothy Stringer Secondary School in Brighton, teaching KS3-KS4 for three years and I now teach KS3-KS5 at St Paul's Catholic College in Burgess Hill. I have always loved maths and I am really passionate about helping others to understand maths topics and to feel confident in their ability. I have extensive experience in preparing students for their GCSE maths exams (Foundation or Higher) and A Level maths exams (Pure, Statistics and Mechanics). Over the years, I have taught students with a variety of needs and abilities. I work hard to build strong relationships with my students and to create positive experiences with them and their maths learning. I'm currently working part time, while I look after my three year old twins, and I am looking to do some tutoring over the summer holidays on Wednesdays or Fridays. I do have some availability to continue with tutoring in term time as well. |
