I am a University of Leicester graduate with a 2:1 in BSc in Mathematics and Actuarial Science with a Year in Industry. I have completed my GCSE's and CIE AS and A Levels where Maths was one of my subjects.
I have had experience in tutoring a GCSE, 2 overseas IGCSE students and an overseas A Levels student in CIE A Level Maths. All 4 students have achieved excellent results in their respective exams. I have also had the chance to help my siblings, who are aged 13, 16 and 18, in Maths. I have helped them with homework concepts, personal practice doubts and I have taught them specific topics that they required help with.
I am available for students who would like help with Maths whether it be for concepts that may not be clear from this year or preparation for GCSE/IGCSE exams. My strategy for teaching is practice as it is highly important after you learn the concepts to give time to ensuring that you know how to apply the knowledge you have gained.
The first lesson that you book will be free and will be a time where we discuss and find out what exactly you would like for me to help the students with. On an ongoing basis, I will ensure that my tutoring is tailored to their needs and requirements.
I am unable to travel but am happy to provide my services online.

Hi, my name is Kully and it's very nice to meet you. Thank you for taking this time out to read my profile!
For the last 10 years, I have been working as a primary school teacher at an outstanding school.
I have over 15 years experience and have worked within many schools, two of which were long-term.
Over the years, my teaching career has allowed me to experience many different and difficult situations. These in turn have made me a more confident, organised, resourceful and experienced (in many years groups) teacher.
My current role is a Year 2 class teacher, however I have taught children from Nursery up to Year 6 as a cover teacher too.
I took part in the Government led school tutoring program, where I tutored 3 children from Year 2 in Writing. This has deepened my experience further, especially when assisting children to achieve the best they can.
I have carried out and planned for many 1:1 or group interventions in Maths and English to assist with our school's Covid catch-up program.
I want to build a good rapport with my pupils, a relationship that is fun, respectful and honest.
It's all about adapting the learning to the pupil and making them feel that they are in control of their learning too. Having a good sense of humour always helps too!
Please leave a message if you would like to discuss your child's needs.
Looking forward to meeting you.

About Me: Hi I’ve taught mathematics for over ten years. My approach is patient and measured. I encourage students to ask “good” questions in order to activate critical and analytical thinking skills. I enjoy teaching key stage 1 to key stage 4.
Teaching & Tutoring Experience: I began my teaching career at the university of Birmingham PGCE maths course. It was a two year course and the first year we studied mathematics at university level. I completed my teaching NQT year in North London and went on to complete a further two years in harrow. I started tutoring maths whilst studying at the LSE which led to my decision to pursue teaching as a career. I have thus tutored for well over ten years.
My Areas of Expertise: My area of expertise is developing professional maths resources. I am the founder of Cazoom maths for example.

Hello all! My name is Matt and I am 27 and just about to start my 7th year teaching having started at my school after University and now wish to offer tuition services after school hours in a range of subjects and preparation for 11+ examinations and grammar school entry. In my current post I am Director of Sport and Head of Computing whilst also teaching 2 English classes and a variety of PE and Games lessons. I find that my young age enables me to personalise learning easily, building productive working relationships with children built through humour, trust and common interests.
I specialise in finding innovative methods of teaching, especially for those with learning difficulties as it is my belief that all children are capable if given the right tools to succeed, which can sometimes be a simple fix or more complex. Either way, I take it on myself to try a range of things that may help each individual as every child's mind functions in different ways; this has paid off in my previous classes, especially in regard to creative writing.
I am relatively flexibile outside of normal school hours and would be more than happy to discuss sessions to best suit individual needs in regard to time, location and subject(s). Please do not hesitate to get in touch with any queries.

Fully PGCE qualified Maths Teacher with over 20 years experience in good and outstanding secondary schools in the UK. Have been curriculum leader of Maths and second in department. I have also taught at primary level and in the past taught students and adults at Walsall College and BMET College. In addition to Maths I have also taught Economics and Physics. I am currently teaching Maths at BMET College to adults and 16-18 yr old students and tutor at smartkids.
My notable achievements include designing a GCSE Maths course for Walsall Colleges VLE (website) in 2014 for all the students to access. I have attained excellent pass rates from past students for example, at Leasowes High all my top set year 8 either achieved their target levels or were above. I have been tutoring for 3 years despite several requests in the past which I turned down (didn’t have the time). A recent student of mine which I tutored attained A* in GCSE Maths and another I taught also attained Level 9 in the same subject. I am also currently tutoring a 6 year old girl who initially struggled with the subject but is now doing really well.
I can provide many positive references (from schools, Colleges and ex students or even existing students).
