Hi, My name is Anju Sangwan. I am living in walsall. I have 4 years of experience in teaching. I assure you if your children are not doing well in maths, I am here to help them. Able to teach in different way and clear basis in anyhow.
I am an experienced STEM student who achieved 9999 in my maths & triple science GCSEs at a selective school. I have worked as a tutor for 7+ months allowing me to build teaching skills and want to aid students in unlocking their full potential.
I am caring, nurturing teacher who is committed to making a difference to children’s lives and education. I love the make children feel comfortable and show them how they can achieve something new everyday. I believe that hard work pays off and I am here to make a difference to support children through little and big achievements. For the last 10 years, I have been working as a primary school teacher at an outstanding school.
I have over 15 years experience and have worked within many schools, two of which were long-term.
Over the years, my teaching career has allowed me to experience many different and difficult situations. These in turn have made me a more confident, organised, resourceful and experienced (in many years groups) teacher.
My current role is a Year 2 class teacher, however I have taught children from Nursery up to Year 6 as a cover teacher too.
I took part in the Government led school tutoring program, where I tutored 3 children from Year 2 in Writing. This has deepened my experience further, especially when assisting children to achieve the best they can.
I have carried out and planned for many 1:1 or group interventions in Maths and English to assist with our school's Covid catch-up program.
I want to build a good rapport with my pupils, a relationship that is fun, respectful and honest.
It's all about adapting the learning to the pupil and making them feel that they are in control of their learning too. Having a good sense of humour always helps too!

I am a father to two girls and work for National Express as a Part Qualified Financial Accountant. I have a first class degree in Mathematics and got a grade A in Mathematics and Further Mathematics in College.

I am a University of Leicester graduate with a 2:1 in BSc in Mathematics and Actuarial Science with a Year in Industry. I have completed my GCSE's and CIE AS and A Levels where Maths was one of my subjects.
I have had experience in tutoring a GCSE, 2 overseas IGCSE students and an overseas A Levels student in CIE A Level Maths. All 4 students have achieved excellent results in their respective exams. Fully PGCE qualified Maths Teacher with over 20 years experience in good and outstanding secondary schools in the UK. Have been curriculum leader of Maths and second in department. I have also taught at primary level and in the past taught students and adults at Walsall College and BMET College. In addition to Maths I have also taught Economics and Physics. I am currently teaching Maths at BMET College to adults and 16-18 yr old students and tutor at smartkids.
My notable achievements include designing a GCSE Maths course for Walsall Colleges VLE (website) in 2014 for all the students to access. I have attained excellent pass rates from past students for example, at Leasowes High all my top set year 8 either achieved their target levels or were above. I have been tutoring for 3 years despite several requests in the past which I turned down (didn’t have the time). A recent student of mine which I tutored attained A* in GCSE Maths and another I taught also attained Level 9 in the same subject. I am also currently tutoring a 6 year old girl who initially struggled with the subject but is now doing really well.
