In both academies I taught GCSE Mathematics A Level Mathematics and Further Mathematics and STEP. About half of my students have been recommended to me. I have been a private tutor since September 1987. I do not cover D1 or D2 or Modelling With Algorithms at A level. I’ve been tutoring GCSE and A-Level Maths and Physics for over four years, with more than 1,000 hours of online tutoring experience. Having achieved top grades in my own A-Levels just five years ago and recently graduating top of my cohort with First-Class Honours in Physics from the University of Nottingham, I know the subject content inside out and what it takes to excel in exams.

I have over 15 years experience in Teaching, and over 12 years experience in Private Tutoring. I currently offer both face-to-face in person tutoring for 1:1 or small groups. I cater for each child's specific needs through appropriate differentiation, and according to their individual interests. My lessons are usually 1 hour long, depending on the needs and abilities of the child and I cover the ages from KS1 up to GCSE in both English and Maths. I also offer home schooling sessions to individuals who are unable to access the mainstream education system, whether it be from a SEND need, a preference or from anxiety, for example. These sessions cover the Core subjects as well as teaching Life Skills such as cooking, woodwork and sewing etc. In addition to this, I offer discrete tutoring for adults in Maths and English (Reading).

I am very confident with the methods I use as I tutor at different levels which means I can choose the right level based on student needs.
