My recent students are sons and daughters of top politians and industry CEO. They expect results and I deliver. I am an appointed Advanced Level Mathematics Examiner for 2015-2024. I have successfully marked the 2024 Pure Maths EDEXCEL Paper One. (I also have a certificate from EDEXCEL to confirm my successful marking of A Level Maths (MECHANICS ) from 2015 to 2018 )
My accuracy as an examiner has given me team leader status.
I am an Enthusiastic teacher of Mathematics, Further Maths and Physics to Advanced Level-and beyond.
I enjoy sharing my knowledge and help students to fulfil their true potential. I keep up to date with Physics news.
I was a tutor at Wiltshire College for 14 years, then taught Mathematics and Science in the field of Military Science at MOD for another 14 years to 2012. This has given me a superb appreciation of the practical applications of my subjects in many situations. For example Doppler Radar and sensor circuits to identify speed and direction of enemy targets.
I have experience of being an Examiner and Moderator in A Level Physics too.
My DBS Certificate has been renewed from 6th August 2024
I use ZOOM Pro for ONLINE lessons :
I also use BITPAPER which keeps all the lessons taught in one place. It’s a really innovative resource sharing environment that will cost you nothing. The student gains possession of lessons that can be referred to for revision and reinforcement of concepts.
I prefer tutoring in Advanced Level Maths/Further Maths/Stats/Physics.
Any exam Board for Physics : Edexcel, AQA, OCR WJEC
I recommend that students do extra work set by me which I will mark and give feedback to student and parent.

Hello! I’m Georgie – a friendly and dedicated tutor with a passion for creating a calm, supportive, and nurturing learning environment where every child can thrive.
I currently work as a Special Educational Needs (SEN) teacher within a specialist resource base, supporting children with complex communication and interaction needs. I qualified as a primary teacher in 2023, with a specialism in SEND, and have since worked with children across a range of ages and additional needs in specialist settings.
My passion for supporting children with SEND is deeply personal—my older brother has a diagnosis of autism, which has inspired my commitment to helping children and young people with autism reach their full potential. I’m particularly focused on building confidence and celebrating each child’s unique strengths.
In my tutoring sessions, I aim to provide focused, personalised support tailored to each learner’s individual needs. Whether your child needs to close gaps in learning, build confidence, or access education in a way that works better for them, I’m here to help—always with patience, encouragement, and care.
Tutoring Services Offered:
• Primary English – including reading and phonics
• Primary Maths
• SEND-specific support – tailored for needs such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and more
• Online sessions available
• 1:1 in-person sessions (either at your home or mine)
If you’re looking for a tutor who will take the time to understand and support your child’s unique learning journey, I’d love to hear from you!
Warm regards,
Georgie

I have been working as a teaching assistant in a secondary school for 3 years, supporting students from years 7-11 with a range of abilities and special educational needs. As I currently work in a secondary school, I have first hand experience on the curriculum and strategies used to make learning more enjoyable.
I have a degree in Psychology, graduating from UWE with a high 2:1. I can help students structure essays and grasp key concepts which outline psychology.
I am fluent in French as I grew up in Belgium. I took my French GCSE in year 9 and continued to study it until A levels.
I am in the process of becoming a secondary school maths teacher. It is a subject I really enjoy teaching and where most of my experience lies throughout my time as a TA. I have supported from set 1-6 and given 1-1 interventions for students needing extra attention.

I have just finished my second year of undergraduate studies in physical natural sciences at Cambridge, on course for a first-class degree and continuing with physics and maths next year. I am an enthusiastic tutor with experience teaching A-level physics, chemistry and maths. I focus on building a strong subject knowledge base with a view to improving exam grades. I tutor physics, maths, further maths and chemistry at GCSE and A level. I believe that time effective revision is key to exam succes; I plan to teach students the techniques that I used to achieve straight 9s at GCSE and straight A*s at A level. I greatly enjoy discussing science and maths and believe that this is another crucial element of engaging tuition.

I went into teaching as it has always been my passion to try to make a difference in children's lives.
After careful consideration I decided to leave mainstream education and set up my own learning centre using kinaesthetic activities with play therapy.
The centre also offers meditation in order to promote wellbeing in body, mind and spirit.
I believe children are all individual and no two children are the same.
My motto is "when a flower doesn't bloom you fix the environment in which it grows, not the flower"
