I am a graduate who has finished studying Maths with Statistics at Royal Holloway University and I have good maths and science teaching skills. I know what techniques are needed for students to thrive and to have a good learning environment. Along with that, I know what techniques are needed to answer exam questions, so that they can do really well, and for them to find their true potential, but most importantly, for students to have a positive and enthusiastic approach to learning. In terms of teaching, I can teach maths, biology and chemistry at KS3, GCSE and A levels. I teach physics at GCSE and at KS3 level. I have 4 years experience as a private tutor and I teach students in the best possible standards as possible as I am very patient and I understand students difficulties and needs and therefore allow them to succeed. I have had 4 years experience in teaching GCSE and A level subjects, which are maths, chemistry, biology and physics. I have also taught geography in the past. I have taught students in person for the past 4 years. For in person teaching, I have taught in libraries and at schools. The first lesson will be a trial lesson, just to introduce myself and also give an indication of where you are working at for your subjects, so that I can plan the lessons according to your needs further forward. At additional request, I will be able to teach Statistics and Further Maths.
For online teaching, I have taught students using Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Google Meets.
Additionally, I have 3 years of experience in teaching students with SEN, as I have taught these students online and in person. I have taught students with ADHD, autism, anxiety, dyslexia and emotional difficulties.

I have won three awards for excellence and a superb tutor. In addition, I have successfully employed various teaching approach/ strategy when teaching and found that this led to many positive student outcomes, such as students getting A grades in A level Maths and Further Maths. I have experience in teaching KS2,11+, KS3, GCSE, IGCSE, IB and A Level maths online and face-to-face. I have worked as an examiner with various exam boards such as: Edexcel and AQA. I always take a student-centered approach to teaching by asking students to bring their notes and talk me through the topics they feel are most difficult. My aim as your tutor would be to identify your strengths and weaknesses and build upon these appropriately. I would incorporate past paper questions very early in the curriculum to assess how well a child can apply their knowledge to answering exam questions. This will ensure that by the time the exams are sat the student will be fully prepared.
