I have taught KS3 and KS4 Maths in Oxfordshire/Berkshire secondary schools for the past 8 years.
My specialism is with students on the grade 3/4 borderline, although I have experience with all students from Y7 to Y11 including at the top end grade 7 GCSE.
I have taught intervention math program to the struggling students in addition to having a proven track record in succeeding students in SATs preparation. As per the parent's request, i also teach / re-enforce math work inline with school timeline.
I have been teaching primary for 4 years now and am greatly enjoying it. I have taught the entirety of KS2 during this time and have experience teaching KS1 also. During my most recent year, I taught year six and supported pupils through their SATs. Pupils achieved a 100% pass mark for the reading paper with 42% achieving the greater depth standard. Pupils also scored highly in grammar and 81% achieved the expected standard in this subject. In maths, 42% of pupils achieved the greater depth standard in 2022-2023.
I teach students upto and including GCSE level both at foundation and higher level. I also taught students with SEN including ASD,ADHD and Dyscalculia.
