Hi, I am a Maths teacher with 15 years experience. I teach right up to A-Level pure and applied. I have 12 years experience of exam marking for Edexcel and i am an examiner for KS2 Sats, GCSE exams and A-Level exams.
I am easy to get on with and will use different ways to explain methods. I have high expectations of all my pupils and nothing is achieved without hard work. I have 2 children myself aged 16 & 18. I am part time at work so have the time to invest into tutoring online.
I am committed to sharing outstanding teaching and learning practices on a national scale. I successfully established Mandarin as a new subject and have furthermore introduced it at seven local primary and secondary schools.
I possess over ten years of experience in teaching and private tutoring. I take a lot of pride in my work and the progress of each individual that I teach through the planning of fun, engaging and imaginative lessons. More recently, I developed my experience in teaching students remotely and am passionate about doing this on a greater scale in future.

I have four years of teaching experience from my various placements throughout the years. Currently, I am on placement in a year 5 classroom where I am working on a research project focused on enhancing multiplication skills in the school. I am also working on a case study with a child who struggles with dyscalculia. During this time, I am taking a closer look at the Maths and SEND curriculum to explore how I can adapt certain areas to better support my project and case study. I find this work very fulfilling as it allows me to contribute to school improvement and work directly with children.
When I was 16, I attended the Southern Regional College for two years and completed my Level Three Extended Diploma in Early Childhood Studies. As part of my course, I had to do placement every Tuesday and Wednesday, and I worked as a teaching assistant in my old primary school. This experience made me realize that I wanted to become a class teacher and pursue this career further.
In Northern Ireland, I have tutored three children between the ages of 8 and 16. I have worked with children who struggle with dyslexia, dyscalculia, and other learning difficulties. I enjoy tutoring and getting the chance to support children individually.
Outside of school, I enjoy going to the gym and running. I also do Irish dancing, which I have been doing since the age of 6. It is something that I really enjoy and it has taught me the value of teamwork andriends. Additionally, it has taught me great resilience and the importance of persevering even when things get tough.

I have many years’ experience in tutoring on a one to one basis having worked in both education and work-based training. My experience results from my time working within two primary schools over several years during which I was heavily involved in setting curriculum standard across English and Maths.
In addition, I have an exceptional knowledge of the current changes in GCSE, KS1, KS2 and KS3 syllabuses and can teach a broad range of subjects covering Primary to Adult education. In addition to a teaching qualification I currently hold a TEFL certificate for teaching English as a foreign language. As much as possible I like to make my lessons fun so that my pupils learn without knowing in an enjoyable and relaxed way.
