I am friendly, approachable and enjoy making learning meaningful for pupils. My lessons begin with starting activities to recap the previous learning, identify any misconceptions. Moving onto the main part of the lesson I plan activities promoting fluency in the skill then application to a real-life situation or worded exam-style question. Games and quizzes can be fun and useful in testing rapid recall.
I have been teaching for fifteen years and have taught learners of all abilities, backgrounds and socio-economic circumstances, planning for progression and offering timely feedback. I am such a friendly, patient and commited teacher that doesn't mind repeating the same topic over and over again for your child to fully understand it (even if they didn't mention that they don't understand but I feel like there's something off) I do not overload students with homework for the purpose of giving them something to do although, Practice makes Perfect!
