I completed my secondary science PGCE in 2015. I am a Biology specialist, however, I have good subject knowledge and experience of teaching in all three sciences. I am also highly adaptable. Science and maths education is something I have always been passionate about and I try to encourage students to share this passion. It is vital to ensure that all students receive the best education possible and it is my belief that they should receive it in a caring and supportive environment. I refuse to believe that any student cannot succeed in a subject, especially something as versatile and flexible as science and maths, there is always a way to get through to any student. While this is more of a personal belief, I have yet to see anything to the contrary. I have been involved with extra-curricular activities; film club, lunch and break duties, corridor patrols and form activities. I have also received weekly training sessions by specialists in school on teaching both SEN and EAL students and improving my own pedagogy.
Hello! I am a friendly and enthusiastic qualified Maths Teacher working in Sheffield. I love teaching maths from Primary age up to GCSE. I have a Masters Degree in Engineering from the University of Nottingham and I trained to teach at Sheffield Hallam University.
I currently work for a large Academy Trust in the area, but have spare time during school holidays and weekends. I am in my third year of teaching and I have lots of experience of teaching KS3 and GCSE pupils. I would also be happy to apply my experience to teach Primary School students.
